It's very hard to get promoted this season to CC E I'm stuck every week on about 25th place or lower.

I'm always on the lower end of the leaderboards, which I don't mind anymore, BUT idk, it kind of bothers me when the top players on the CC-Z leaderboard are playing as good as the people currently at the top of CC-E. I totally get that people might have a good week, and that's great! But eh...

I've worked out that to get promoted we just need an average of 4 under each round it sounds easy but when it's the TGC TOUR you get that slight feeling of pressure. Putts just miss by inches hit lip etc and that's just the difference at the end of the day. Those near misses cost us the opportunity.

This past month's tournaments are the only ones that I have ever played on Z in about three years on tour. I honestly thought it wouldn't be that hard to get an exemption up to E, but you are right, it's proving a lot harder than I thought. I only missed by one last week and three the week before, but I was already out of contention this week after the first 9 holes of round one. I am enjoying it though, much more than any other tournaments that I have played in that time.

Last time around in TGC1 I think the promotion score was 6 or 7 under over 4 rounds now it's 20 under plus 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Week 23 - Masters Qualifying at Magnolia National
I didn't get off to the best of starts with a double at the first and I was + 3 after about 5 holes. However, I played really well after this and managed to get to - 1 after 15 holes. Unfortunately, I hit the water at 16 and ended up with a triple bogey. I also bogeyed 18 and finished Rd 1 with a score of + 3. It did not start or end well, but I was very happy with how I played in between. I'm looking forward to the remaining rounds and good luck everyone this week.

Every round is a roller coaster ride on this course. Definelty a challenge! Fun ride for sure when a birdie feels like an eagle. I shot 77 in the first round ans it feels like the best 77 I have ever shot lol

I played well in Rd 2 and finished level par keeping me at + 3 at the halfway stage. Round 3 didn't get off to a good start with a triple at the 4th followed by another bogey at the 5th. However, I managed to play pretty well after that and finished the round with another + 3. So I am + 6 going into the final round.

With four stikes already, and having to play Magnolia .. no way I was going to clear any of those strikes. I will be back down to Z, only to fight again to get to E.
I don't even want to mention my final score ... Magnolia just kick my arse big time. It was frustrating ... but fun too. Because it was The Masters. I think I'll stick to watching The Masters and watching the real golfers get kicked with this course.

I shot an + 8 80 in Rd 4 so finished with a total score of + 14. I was fairly satisfied with my first three rounds, but played really badly in the final round. I'm looking forward to an easier test this week, but I thoroughly enjoyed the tournament despite my struggles.

Just a heads up guys. We’ve decided to go back to the old system of having two threads, one for CC-Pro and one for CC-Am. It would hopefully create more conversations and also take up less space in the pinned section (for more important stuff like the multi-pin schedules). These threads are also getting a bit long. Anyways, we will create monthly threads starting tomorrow, and these will be locked. Just wanted to say this so you don’t get confused. Thanks!

When do results get added to profiles please? I see at the moment that even though I won the Nick Skelton Seniors in CC-Z, my profile says my position was 0, not 1 - and I have no wins, and even after winning my ranking has dropped?? Very confused - please forgive the newbie. You can see by my signature card why I am confused, I guess.
Also, is the exemption into CC-E automatic? I may want to get this weeks done quickly as I really do want to maintain CC-E and go for CC-D status

The admins remove the unfinished rounds people and a bunch of other important stuff. Edit: as the winner of an event you are promoted to CCE and not as a sponsors exemption.

Thanks Stephusher - for both comments. So probably tomorrow-ish before I see the changes in profile?
Much appreciated
