Well, the downward spiral continuuuuuuues +6 for the tourney. I had a lot of P/P shots as far as tempo and 3 really good 25'-30' flops in R4. Other than that Natta!! Up next East Lake, nice to have a PGA course for a change

Finished off Rounds 3 & 4 tonight, a largely frustrating 69(-3) followed by a dire 74(+2) for an overall tally for -10. Dunno where that'll leave me but it's disappointing and frustrating after the decent first round. -10 should be good for a clear strikes. -7 is above the line through 3 rounds. It will probably get to -8 or -9. You should be fine

Holy Rd1 low scores. I thought East Lake would be challenging It is off the 'ladies' tees - every par 4 is drive-pitch, so you would expect low scores

Dan and I are purposely lobbing a few easy ones your way because Week 23 is Masters Qualifying at Augusta.

Round 1 at East Lake: 65(-7)
Driving straight and true, 83% GiR, decent start again this week. Expect a crushing slump over the next three rounds. Again, like last week.

Round 2: 69(-3)
Feeling thankful after a troubling round, swing was all over the place tonight and needed some pretty desperate scrambling to keep my head above the water.
-3 under the circumstances is a decent result.

Well, 8 under after 3 rounds I played 2 today in case we lose power in the Northeast here. R4 Friday or Saturday R3 winds were not bad at all.

Round 1
-6
+1 after nine and birdied seven of last nine.
Would have been bird on 18th also but for some reason flop from just off green with perfect tempo on back and downswing went a few yards. That happened on one on front nine also....strange.

Rounds 3 & 4: Another couple of 69(-3) scores takes me to -16 for the event. Struggled with wayward approach shots and the infamous right to left putt anomaly many times. Wonder if they'll ever get round to fixing that. Anyway, -16. Not great, but not too bad.
