So we aren't playing the classic version of this course ported over from TGC1? If that's true, you're saying there's a chance. No idea, I barely played TGC1, found it kinda clunky. But really like TGC2, hoping it keeps getting better with the next version. I'll be REALLY interested to see what they do with the tours and transitioning to the new game. I popped TGC1 in the other day just for fun. Wow that game was easy compared to this one.

The firm/fast monstrosity used in The Masters each year on TGC1 is nowhere to be found because firm in TGC2 is nowhere near as concrete-like as it was in TGC1. Even still, a medium version of Magnolia has always been used for play in the CC Masters Qualifier. Craig did a great job getting the original ported 1st Ed. ready for use on CC in a short amount of time.

Sitting +1 after 36. I was as high as +3 and as low as -4. Ahh the punshiment of Augusta.
I also have figured out that the swing in career mode and the swing in these events is different. I was playing some career mode and striping everything. Take the same swing onto the tour and all of a sudden the downswing was fast.

WOW - Some of those pins are impossible to get near. I vented in the clubhouse after going +3 on the 1st 2 holes and came back with a -9 so - not complaining. Love this course and it seems that putting is MUCH easier in these greens they in TGC1.

Moving day and I actually moved in the right direction. -3 round with the highlight of parring 16 from the back bunker. That sand shot was NOT easy to keep on the level with the hole.
Leggo final round!

Looks like I am sitting 4 strokes down of being demoted heading into the final two rounds. Not feeling optimistic at this point.
Good luck to everyone yet to finish. I hope someone really sticks it to this course and goes low.

I finished +12 after 4 rounds (E, -5, -7, E), I'll be glad to see the back of Augusta and looking forward to next weeks tournament.

Had a chance, -4 thru 8, then #9 bit me in the butt. Staggered off at -1.
9 pars later...-1 for the round, +1 for the tourney.
Probably 2 trikes, but kinda proud of my comeback from +5 thru 36.

Went -5 in the final round with a clean card and it appears I got lucky and will clear all my strikes. I can't believe it but I guess I'll get another few cracks in C3.

Will -19 beat the strike line this week?? Going by the law of averages I think -24 would be above the strike line. But that's just going by the current leaderboard of 58 players and -6 being above 29th place.

Will -19 beat the strike line this week?? Seriously, I shot 62 today with no practice round. The wind was way down though. If the wind picks up, who knows. I'm thinking -19 will be strike-free, but the exemption line will be somewhere near -25 or better.
