Looking ahead to next weeks CC tour stop at The Davies at Bora Bora and it looks stunningly beautiful. Nice solid layout until you hit the green complexes. I know people get bent out of shape when designers get criticized but the greens are terrible on this course. It's a shame to because otherwise it's an outstanding track. Zero cohesion and seemingly random bizarre mounds and hills that don't have any sort of flow. The folks who pick the courses have done an outstanding job overall this year but The Davies should not have been included without changes to the greens IMO. Good luck all, you will need it on the greens I agree, I thought everything was great until the greens. Im fine with mounds and undulations, but there has to be some sort of reward of getting close to the hole or something.

Dr. Jeckell and Mr Hyde. HATED the greens at Bora Bora. So many putts took 45 degree angles 1 foot from the hole. My last round in CC-B as I prepare to move to CC-C. Ever since I moved upstairs for a basement project I have not been able to put 4 good rounds together. 73,63,73,66
HOWEVER - I did have back to back eagles on 9 and 10.
Thumbs down on this course because of the green NEXT to the hole. 90% of this course is wonderful.

Next week was suppose to be an experiment of using the same course from different tees on various tours....it didn't work out though since PGA is using it week 23 and CC has masters qualifying that week. Still should be a fun course for you guys

First round I shot well, -8 but the entire round I felt like I was wheels would fall off at any moment. Second round was more of a grind but finished at -5 for -13 through 2 rounds which at the moment is T40.
I have to say the strips of rough leading into fairways is genius and really complements the Tropical theme of the course. Not a fan of a couple greens but otherwise a solid course

Just played this weeks tournament.. -27 under. No bogey first round but barely made anything, ended up with a 68. Shot an incredible 59 on the 2nd round.. Then started to get hosed by the pins. Lipped out 4 birdies in round 3 and ended with a 65. Pins were pretty difficult on The 4th round and some were just impossible to get to. Ended with a 69. Hoping one of these next courses actually have consistent pins.

I don't understand the complaining about difficult pins in the 4th round. Everyone plays the same pin placements. Is it so problematic to actually shoot a realistic score in a round for a change? I like the variety in difficulty. Makes you have to manage the course more when the pins aren't all huge bullseyes.

So after missing two exemption lines in the past 3 weeks by less then 4 strokes each, I surprised myself and went -31 for the first three rounds. I decided to hold off on the last round until today when I exploded with all birdies on the front 9. I really thought I set myself up to win it, but I completely sh%$ the bed going even on the back 9. I really hate myself at this point, but oh well, I'm 92.5% sure that my -40 will get me an exemption up to CC-A this week (fingers crossed).

Removed Aisha Halep and put him/her into the Web.com tour. Another suspect account that joined 2 weeks ago - struggled on an easier course and then all of a sudden didn't miss a fairway all event at Magnolia. Throw out an exemption into the Masters and you get a few oddities. Carry on!

I'm new to the Tours myself and in the World Tour, so am I too a "suspect" account? I can assure you she's a good player, streaky yes, but still a good player.. I think more than a few people would agree that people have good and bad weeks or a month, right Bob?(not to pull you in, but its true)
