😂 It's going to be frosty if Corbyn becomes the next PM... He's right aswell, you can cooperate at different levels without all the expensive ego-massaging b***ocks like state banquets.
If it must go ahead, put David Attenborough one side of him and Sadiq Khan the other

Joe Biden is going to keep Trump in power. You heard it here first. That would mean that Biden gets the Dems vote in their primary. As much as I like Joe, his window is closed. He is having a difficult time getting past being a "friendly" guy as it is. Then there is the Anita Hill thing that just will not go away because he can't simply say "I'm sorry" and be done with it (where have people complained about that before? *coughtrumpcough*) I believe America's liberal left are tired of rich, old farts steering the ship into the future. I fully expect Dems to give us a younger, fresher choice. Someone in touch with today's realities. Whomever it is will need to go after Trump on his treasonous relationship with Putin, the national debt and foreign affairs in general. Leave the character assassinations to the media. We already know he is a despicable excuse for a human being. Not enough people care about that to make it an election issue.

Going after Trump only strengthens Trump. Hillary did it and lost, Joe is already doing it and if he's the front runner, he will lose, too. The Dems need Bernie and his progressive views to counteract Trumps regressive platform. Going after Trump personally will NOT win over republican voters, nor will it attract new voters, only fresh ideas can achieve that.

I think it would be healthy for people to be offered a genuine alternative and a continuation of the same policies with a friendy face will probably lead to another Trump in the future.
But i also think Biden would beat Trump (narrowly) just because the motivation to depose Trump is high enough to get him over the line. The Obama voters who stayed at home in 2016 won't stay home this time. The people who viewed Trump as a joke and didn't vote because they thought Hillary would win anyway won't stay home this time.
Re-installing some dignity to the office is a pretty strong sell whoever the Dem nominee is.

The dems need not play DT's game. Attack his presidential record (what little there is of it, sorry EOs don't count as legislature in my book), attack his foreign policy (or lack there of) but don't attack him personally. Let him say and do whatever he wants but stay their political course not the personal course and voters will come out to vote for real change. Tell us realistic goals you want for America, not empty promises, too many on both sides see the constant lies and that needs to stop NOW.

It would be a lot easier beating Pence.

I'm not too sure he is the front runner the media is making him out to be. That stuff is based on polls and polls are pure, inaccurate BS. I'm afraid Bernie's window is shut too. The trick isn't to win base voters from the other party. that rarely happens. The trick is to win the majority of independents. And that's a tough trick because each indie is different. America is (very) roughly 1/3 each Dem, GOP and non-affiliated. Our biggest problem is the antiquated electoral college. We already saw Trump lose by 3 million votes yet be the winner. Ahead of all of that though, the democrats have a lot of work to do settling on one candidate. We'll see what they offer up to the country.

I'd definitely put my money on another term for Trump.
