All I've gotten out of the last page of posts:
I need to re-watch The Matrix. Apparently, a lot of it went over my head when I watched it the first time.

1st Matrix was pretty good - had all yer big metaphysical ideas nicely interwoven. 2+3 were a bit pants as far as I remember.
And lol, my comment was words I put together myself - out of interest which quote from the film did I accidentally plagiarise Leon?

My mate still really likes 2 and 3, with definite reservations over 3; i might go back and watch them. Definitely some awesome battle sequences, as i remember, but over-long and some plot holes and annoying dialogue as well.
I wouldn't say "plaigarise" at all, more "inspired by," or just made me think of it anyway; the "infestation" part...

Ohh and looking at my quarterly payroll between the two businesses we pump out over 200K . That's not including taxes and the impact of the products we make. Wut do you do Cliff? Amuse me. Possibly your worst post ever... How does such a nice guy (outside of this post) become such a douche on it?? Next I'll post my tax returns! I thought you guys like full disclosure? Shhhh don't tell people I'm nice Ray. That ruins my far right Nazi fox news watching persona.

Shhhh don't tell people I'm nice Ray. That ruins my far right Nazi fox news watching persona. No one would believe you weren't a nice person Paul. May not agree on a political spectrum but I believe most people who post in here (outside of the occasional troll) are nice at heart and only want the best for the country and its citizens. We just have a hard time agreeing on what "what's best" is But i don't hold one's political beliefs against anyone unless there is violence attached. As a non-affiliated voter, i do find it amusing how each side attacks the other for doing the very same things they themselves do. Right now I'm looking at that giant anvil of debt hanging over our heads and wondering "where are the conservatives?" while at the same time hearing those so-called conservatives blast spending on proposed health care programs. Always remember, regardless of party or person, the politics were/are/forever will be crooked. None of them have our best interests at heart unless it aligns with their own personal survival.

good post. didn't agree with it all, but good post.
There are lots of things i didn't like about obama, especially his foreign policy, but i strongly believe he wasn't motivated by self interest. I mean you can criticise ANY politician for being "ambitious," but i genuinely believe he took the position and responsibility VERY seriously. You only need look at his response to the numerous mass shootings during his time to see he gave a sh1t...

Like Jimmy says tho, in our current crap system, you just have to plump with the one that mostly aligns with your political desires.. despite being a trigger happy, the b-man ticked a lot of other boxes.

Always respected your opinion. We have shared some pm . I know you have been through a lot. All I have ever done is try to show the other side of things. Probably not gracefully but what can you do when you are called a idiot , douche or a clown. I don't like being attacked. I've said it before if we all met in a bar we would be fine. Btw I liked Obama as a president. Just not his policies so much. Probably the coolest one we've had. Definitely could drink a couple beers with him.

The hypocrisy of politics drives everyone crazy. For the record, I was/am a big supporter of Obama and the agenda he had on the table. There were a lot of things right with that agenda (and some things that needed tweaking but were still good). But, unfortunately, he was not immune to the atmosphere in DC. One of the biggest reasons i voted for him the first time was the promise of ousting lobbyists from influence. Then he hired some after getting in office. Just solidifying a point
