yeah I was an "Easter worshiper" because I was worshiping on Easter. I don't think the term means anything other than to emphasize the importance of the day. *shrug* whichever. The problem is, it was used to describe Christians as a whole. As I said, Christians and Catholics when asked what is their faith, they don't call themselves Easter Worshipers. As for the news, yeah they avoided calling those killed Christians by saying they were worshippers at an Easter Service. My point is the term was used in an effort of political neutrality. Would it have been so hard to say what the Imam said? Christians and others at the Easter Service? This happened in Sri Lanka. The same words would be used if it happened in Saudi Arabia or Egypt but not if it happened in the US or Canada. The answer to the question, "Why is that" is what I find disturbing.

I really don’t think it was. In literally any news story on Easter Sunday, the people attending church are called ‘Easter worshippers’. It’s a fairly common term used to describe people attending church on those days. Less used, but similar would be the use of Christmas worshippers to describe people attending church at Christmas. I really think you’ve made a big deal out of a nothing on this.

I think organized religion is a big thing about nothing minus money.
But call a Muslim a Muslim a Catholic a Catholic or a crazy Christian Fundy a Christian.
Catholics are coo though we drink 😁

I think organized religion is a big thing about nothing minus money. Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion. -- Steven Weinberg I don't care what anyone believes. What I do care about is that, in the public sphere, laws are based on facts that are demonstrably true, and no religion has ever been able to demonstrate truth in its doctrines.

I like Ricky Gervais’ take on it all. Remove all humans and start again, and all of the science books will be reproduced because they’re based on facts. Gravity will always work at 9.8m/s2. Water will always be two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen.

Which is why religion and the freedom of religion needs to be protected by the laws based on fact. People have the right to believe, regardless what or who they believe in, so long as that belief doesn't infringe on the rights of others.

Jesus was a threat to power. You know what happened next. Religion is fine in small doses. It's just like your liberalism. Less is more. If everyone could come to the middle we would be better off. Power is what corrupted people not ideology or religion. It's just a way to get there . Power is a allusion. Most people have more than they think. Just to afraid to use it. 😉

Easter worshipers cover more than just Catholics but you would only know that if you pulled your head out of Fox News' ()...Libs fault for San Fran being filthy...look around, HUMANS are slobs. Why should Europeans read our constitution, have you read their parchments? Tis funny about that free sh%$, free sh%$ is more prevalent in GOP states than Dem states. No glass, no steel and how is that rebirth of the coal industry doing?

i find it amusing that san fransisco could possibly be viewed as some "radical" city just because it votes democrat. It's a capitalist's playground! Full of morally bankrupt companies.
They're basically republicans who don't have a problem with homosexuality and abortion...

Harley-Davidson blamed European taxes on imports of its gas-guzzling hogs for a 27% drop in profits in the first quarter, prompting Donald Trump to vow retaliation against the EU.
“So unfair to US. We will reciprocate!” the president tweeted.
Hey Donnie, it is YOUR fault this happened. Will his reciprocation will be to give them billions in handouts like our farmers?
