Your favorite Golf Course/Motocross Track has been ported over to TGC2 for your enjoyment. The course features 4 full sets of tee and pin locations. Enjoy!
Published Name: "Holeshot GC & MotoPark" Tees: Red, White, Blue, Black Greens: Medium/160-ish Fairways: Firm Located adjacent to the well-known Holeshot Motocross track, Holeshot GC has quickly become a favorite of visiting riders and families. The course offers plenty of scoring chances, but large, undulating greens will test the best of players. Don't let the noise distract you on the par-5 18th, as the motocross track is directly across the single lane road leading up to the main clubhouse. Enjoy your round, and thanks for playing!

Firm version published....
Published Name: "Holeshot GC & MotoPark (Firm)" Distance: 6755 yards Greens: Firm/174 Fairways: Firm
"Firm" course features all new tee-box and pin locations. I actually find this version more fun, but it should play more difficult than the original, despite a scorecard yardage of less than 6800.

Hi Justin, took a turn around the course, quite nice... scored a 10 under with wind at 0-6 mph. If this is only your second course it is a great start to your designing career!

Members version just published, which should be a good fit for CC-type players. The Members course features new tee and pin locations not used in either of the previous 2 versions.
Published Name: "New Holeshot GC & MotoPark (Members)" Distance: 6601 yards Greens: Medium/153 Fairways: Firm

Great track! Very clean, great layout. Some of the most interesting routings I've seen in many a moon. Really, really enjoyed my round. I could easily see this on CC Pro. Great job!

Thanks Greg, very kind of you to say. I would be thrilled to have this on tour somewhere - I think that's the goal for most/many designers, anyway. Glad you enjoyed your round!

I played the original course as part of one of the community events and really enjoyed the layout. Overall, the course played very easy because there are many opportunities to cut off chunks of yards, leaving lots of short irons in to receptive greens.
Sculpting in the out-of-play areas could use some work, but it was fun going all-out trying to make eagles (I played this in a four-ball event), even on medium length par-4s.

Thanks for the play Patrick, I'm glad you enjoyed your round. You guys in the 4-ball event were shooting some awesome scores, which was very cool to see. I think I said this in that thread, but my intent was to make something a bit easier, especially if you get a helping wind and are willing to risk a few tee shots . Thanks again for the play, and feel free to give the firm version a go in your spare time - it plays even shorter, but not really any harder, and it's probably my favorite of the 3 versions. Cheers

That was one of the things I took away too was a decent amount of fairway you could cut....but also ran risk of oveeshooting the landing. I thought greens were well done and overall played pretty fair on the firm setup. Can definitely see a few steps forward in the designer from tour Invicta entry Justin...keep it up

I thought greens were well done and overall played pretty fair on the firm setup. Can definitely see a few steps forward in the designer from tour Invicta entry Justin...keep it up Thanks for the feedback and play David. The idea on many of the tee-shots was definitely to offer more aggressive options, while also allowing the golfer to play more conservatively if they were unsure about where a driver would land - and to leave plenty of room in the event of a strong headwind since many of the tee shots are exposed and downhill. My aim was to design a pretty easy course tee-to-green that yielded low scores, and that was one way I thought it could be made easy but not boring (i.e., dead straight tee-shot after straight tee-shot). The original medium version, at least, I had tried to make to a CC Tour difficulty in the hopes that it would find a home there...but I don't really see that happening lol. Anyway, glad you enjoyed the round, and thanks for the kind words
