Paulo and I are going to play a live one tomorrow afternoon at 1pm PST. I'll be leaving for vacation the following day so I'll probably end up playing the finals / third place match the same night.

Paulo and I just played our semi-final match. It was a close match all the way through. Going into the final hole, I was one stroke ahead of him. But since I was losing the back 9, it meant that a tie on the course meant a loss for me. He made birdie and my 90 yard pitch was good enough for me to make mine as well. 44-43 Well played Paulo! Though we both would have been demolished by Matt and Jules, it was a great match between the two of us. Interesting note: I noticed my score was exactly the same as my score going into the 18th hole for the Ultimate Team tournament round of 6 this morning for this course. Here's what I wrote in the thread: "average score, 6 under front 9. back 9 included a pitch on green and then two putt that resulted in a bogey. 465 yard par 4 with 15 mph winds working against you will do that. I ended the round with five pars, none of which I feel like I completely misplayed. Wind will make or break scores in this back 9." On my match against Paulo, I had 1)the same number of birdies on the front 9 and 2) the bogey was in exactly the same hole and 3) two birdies surrounding the bogey in both cases and 4) 4 straight pars directly afterwards. And just like the round this morning, the back 9 was 10-15 mph windy. The one hole that broke the pattern was me actually playing that windy 18th hole properly. Good luck Paulo and Jules in the finals. Matt, I'll play the finals match sometime today to give you something to shoot for. Good luck.

And just realized that the finals will be played by a 14th seeded player versus a 20th seeded. That's gotta be the highest sum of final seeds in tournament history right?

The underdogs making it happen this month. A Christmas miracle!! Well Jimmy, I would play coy, but I don't mind one bit if you beat me. I played this aft, made some good shots, but missed 3 eagles by inches and made a bogey. A bucket of birdies had me at 47 points with 23 on the back, but I just felt a tiny bit off. Good luck, my friend!

I played well in the final round. After a par on the par 3 first hole, I went on rampage birdieing 10 in a row. Four more birdies to end my round brought me to a grand total of 50. Congratulation to to Jules, Paulo, and Matt (first time for you right?) for making final four. Thank you and congratulations to @catcherman for another successfully run tournament despite the short month. Thank you to my opponents along the way the way. ( brianfuller75 , warrior009 , miacanes12, edi_vedder ) Always a pleasure.

Atta boy Jimmy, very nice round. I stood on the 16th tee with 41 points, but parred in. That 18th would have been a very tough birdie though. My first time in the final 16, let alone the final 4, so definitely a good month for me. Congrats Jimmy!
