Gentlemen, I am thinking of beginning a two man team competition if I get enough interest. I am considering doing 16 two man teams for this first go around for a total of 32 people. The uniqueness about this competition is you pick your partner for the entire competition, could be two pga players, two euros, two cc players 1 cc and a 1 pga etc. I am thinking about beginning December 1 and every week cut the field in half so it would be 16 teams then 8, 4, and finally 2. Thus lasting four weeks. Every week, each team member would play 2 rounds of stroke play for a team total of 4 rounds. The scores of the 2 rounds from player a would be combined with 2 rounds from player b to create the overall team score. For example if player a scores -11 and -7 while player b scores -9 and -13 the overall total for the team would be -40. In the first round, therefore, the 8 teams with the best scores move on and down the line every round. I am going to be keeping signups open until November 30th, to make it more clear for everyone, please post at least TWO people who you want to partner with on here and then please communicate with me who accepted your invite as your partner. Obviously, the partners come on a first come, first serve basis. Once a player gets picked he can't be picked a second time. It is advised that if your aspired partner does not accept within two days to try to find a different partner. When a team has been confirmed, please post the names of both players, both's WGR and both players' Tour. If you see more than 32 players signed up, please still join in case we have a drop out or maybe we will get more than 32 entrants. Please feel free to ask questions if you've got any. This will be my first ever time leading a competition so I am still trying to understand the ropes completely. Being the 198th player in the world I am sending invites to team golferdude to ijs1543 blueorfe The first to accept out of these two will be my partner. im in bud, hope you can carry me thru this
