A eagle on the second in round one was a nice confidence booster, I knew the course could bite if a poor shot was played so every shot counted. Two birdies over the next three holes was a positive start. The next five holes, I just could not give myself a birdie chance, and the confidence of earlier was slipping away. The par five eleventh became the hole that was going to decide my round, a ninety two percent tee shot over water is never a good thing, and it felt like a disaster to me, when I did get to the green, I left myself a thirty five foot downhill, double breaking putt for par, as if hitting the water was not bad enough. If I could get away just the one dropped shot, I would be happy enough. When my putt dropped for par I was ecstatic, confidence meter filled to overflowing and I just knew it was going to be my round, five birdies in a row followed, just missed one on seventeen before a final birdie brought my score to 10 under.
The second course, I played on the web, played badly so I was worried about this one but two quick birdies settled my nerves a little. I then missed a easy six footer for birdie on the third and the nerves returned. I am such a confidence player, and with that putt, my confidence dropped and greens became smaller, putts longer and trees taller, one birdie over the next four holes. Two birdies over the last two holes of the front nine brought respectability to my scorecard and the hope the bad errors were gone. The back nine started with three pars before I completely forgot the green speeds, on thirteen , I hammered a twelve foot birdie putt of the green and could not recover, first dropped shot of the two rounds. I got the shot back on fifteen before losing it again on seventeen, confidence was shot, hit the bunker with my tee shot on the last and was happy to walk away with par for four under.
A tough couple of rounds, played well for awhile but could not keep it going, over to you partner, good luck when you play.

I got sorted with internet at last so played this one and will be partnering smurfblade88 now till the end. Was very rusty after not playing at all for weeks and had a battle with my short game and Moe's shrubs most of the time. Enjoyed the 2 courses anyway, had played Moe's before but not the Sunday canucked version Fergus Mc Donald team 1 R1 -9 R2 -4 Total -13 Edit just noticed that Moe Slorkman and nantez88 haven't played yet. Waiting for ghosts in the Irish championship, you'd want to be ashamed of yourselves lads

Anthony McDonald team 5 Round 1 -11 Round 2 -8 Total -19 Played alright, too many silly errors stopped me putting up an excellent score, Moe's canuckers got me for 2 bogies and a missed 3footer for bird for stains. Also my golfer was MOElested in the shrubbery by Moe at one stage. Got this Jammy hole in one too, that Moe has never gotten on his own course ;-) for extra stains
