I was thinking about a new event, we have stableford, elim tourney and others so what about a team best ball knockout contest that's open to all tours. If we get 64 players then 32 teams and even the teams out like highest rank with lowest rank in 1 and 64, 2 and 63 down to 32 and 33. If less then keep the names of others interested as replacements. All I would say is to post your scorecard so I can check the scores and work out the winner. Another option is to pair teams by console so you can play with the partners ghost ball so both scores will be on the same card but also keep the teams even by skill. Would anyone like to play a best ball team knockout event? I'm open to suggestions to make it better.

Great idea @pheonixjay I enjoy this format however would just like to contribute an idea for scoring. Given the pairings are matched 1-64, 2-63, etc how about the score being an aggregate of the two players eg Player A is -1, Player B is +1 so no score on that hole. A = -2 B = -1 score would be -3 etc. IMO it would even out the dominant players. Just an idea to peruse.

That's sounds interesting and will think about it though that way will take longer to work out the over all score and since there will be 2 aside and the best score from the pair per hole will be their score for the hole. I know from experience that with every event, there's no shows and don't want someone going out because their partner was a no show so how about if a time limit was set like 10 days and if someone's not been heard from for say 6 days then would be replaced by someone willing to jump in.

After talking to titan, i will be aiming this as a team best ball event on all 3 types, a knockout on pc, ps4 and xbox so everyone can see their opponents ghosts and also be able to post both your scorecards. And yes, being able to post your scorecard is a must so i can work out the score, the best score per hole between you and your partner ie if player A gets a 4 and player B gets a 3 then the 3 is what gets kept to go against their opponents just like the 4 balls in the tgc ryder cup. If I can get 16 per format as a start then 8 teams each then the winners of each format go together in a 3 match final. ps4 v xbox. xbox v pc, pc v ps4. If it ends in a tie then total strokes will determine the overall winners.

Dug, this is probably the easiest way to upload your scorecard. There's a little bit of setting up to do at the start, then after that its no problem.
Do you have a twitter account? If not just create one.
To take a screen shot you double tap the big X button. I think it's Y to save screen shot.
Okay. So you took your screen shot. Now on your xbox home screen scroll over to the community section.
Now beside where it says "share something to Xbox live " in skinny rectangle box there should be a little icon with a controller and picture in a smaller box beside it.. When you click that it should take you to all your screen shots.
Click on the one that you want to upload to twitter and then press share. It will give you the twitter option there. You will probably have to link to your twitter account the first time so just follow the prompts. Now your scorecard pic should be uploaded to twitter.
To post it on here, just hit the red reply button. Hit the insert image icon and paste the image address of your scorecard from your twitter account.
Any other questions just hit me up.
