As for running a TGC1 league at the same time as TGC2 - I doubt that will happen either due to manpower and costs - but like I've said previously, none of this has really been discussed in-depth with Tim or Jeff so it's all just speculation on my part. Once the new game arrives the old one will be put aside by virtually everyone, that is the nature of gaming. ( Unless the new game is a complete dog, which seems unlikely ) A tour for the old game would be fun I suppose. People would play both tours but it seems pretty pointless. The new game is what will matter. I'm hoping I hate the new game with a passion due to its difficulty. I hope everyone does for a couple of months and then slowly get to grips with it. Those are the games that last. I was late coming to TGC1. It will be good to start on a level playing field with the new game.

Have you decided on things like: Time period between release of TGC 2 and start of S4 (or continuation of S3) with everyone on tgc 2. If theres gonna be a reset on WGR New Q school for everyone. Gettin the above done wont be done quickly so things like grace periods and q schools cud well overlap regular or major events. Pretty much nothing has been decided for the above - I have my ideas but will use the time after Season 3 gets started to iron them out w/ admin. Currently we're all hands on deck just getting Season 3 up and going. Quick Question Will there be a fed ex or R2D for S3? If we switch to TGC 2 whenever it drops and start S4 does that mean its extremely unlikely tat we'll hav a Fed ex or R2D in S3? Im lookin to base my S3 schedule on the answer to the above.

With the split coming in the CC division, I think that we should have to Challenge Circuit folders, one each for the lower and upper tier separately. Might free up some of the clutter. If there aren't already plans to do so of course.

If there aren't already plans to do so of course. I'd be hesitant to do that and here's why. 1) A lot of these guys have become friends. And not all are in the same tier. You split them up and human nature being what it is, those who have gone from D to C aren't likely to pop in and out of sub forums to visit the old crew. By keeping everybody together, this isn't a problem. 2) There is going to be some duplication of effort as far as posting. Some things will apply to A through Z. Doesn't make sense to have to post them in two separate places. Besides, this forum has too many sub forums as it is. I don't think we need to micro manage CC to this degree. Plus, guys who do bounce between tiers D and C are going to get dizzy from having to go from one sub forum to another. And there won't really be a lot more threads to go through. Right now, there is a separate thread for each week's tourney for A, B, C, D, E and Z. That's not going to change. You'll still have 6 threads. Why the need to spread them out over two sub forums? I guess I'm just not seeing the advantage of splitting these guys up but by all means if you can point out the upsides and they appear significant, I'll be the first one to say go for it.

Honestly it doesn't really matter to me, I haven't played in months. I had 2 thoughts. 1. Each CC tier is using different courses. Right now, there are only 2 course names (among the 6 flights) running at any given time. The one currently being played, and the practice tours set up for the next week. If you keep both tiers in a Challenge Circuit folder, you're going to have four course names, two each for the current week and two for the practice tour for next week. That might get a little confusing, especially with the constant posting that goes on. 2. It may be difficult to find the exact thread you want to post in with the new added course names. You could just go into your own flight and find your thread. Like I said though, really doesn't matter to me. It was only a suggestion. If the public wants it they'll make it so, if not, no big deal.

Well, for that matter, have you seen what the CC sub forum looks like anyway? Old threads are never deleted. You already have 6 threads for the current week, 6 threads for the week that is just ending, 2 threads for the practice at minimum, the course suggestions thread, the multi pin schedule, and whatever somebody decides to start just for the heck of it. I've seen weeks where finding a thread was an exercise in futility. It's one of the reasons I'm glad I'm out of CC. In Web, there's hardly any activity at all. Point is, the actual number of threads that will be added to the clutter are relatively few in comparison. Maybe 2 to 4 tops. In the grand scheme of things, given the state the sub forum is in anyway, I don't think it's going to make much of a dent at all. And then, even if it does, you have to weigh the pros and cons and certainly splitting up friends and ultimately bouncing D and C guys back and forth between sub forums depending on exemptions and strikes can get crazy real fast. If it was a pure plus, plus on all levels I'd say sure. But there are the cons that do need to be considered.

I'm actually overjoyed that anybody even cares enough to ask this. LOL. I've been a big video game fanatic since Atari and that was in the 70s. As for PC specifically, I was married in 1984. My first PC game was a text based game by the name of San Francisco Earthquake 1906. It was a Zork like game where you had to search for your wife who was kidnapped after the Earthquake. In 1987, I remember playing a golf game on a PC XT. I don't remember the name but the graphics were really bad as well as the game play. In 1990 through 1992 I played the Eye of the Beholder series exclusively. To this day, they are still some of my favorite games of all time. Later in 1992 I played Dune with my friend John. There were other games during that time but they were so bad I don't really remember them. There was one 3rd person D&D game I played that wasn't all that great. It was before EotB. Probably late 80s. It was on 2 floppy disks. My all time favorite PC game was Might and Magic VI which came out sometime in the mid 90s. I played that with my daughter every night for months. She used to just love to watch me kill dragons. These days it's hard for me to get really excited about anything. There's just been too much and for the most part, it's just the same old same old with fancier graphics. My all-time favorite experience was playing Super Mario Bros. 3, so yes I've been gaming or quite some time too and like you it's hard to get excited which is why I really hope virtual reality is that next big step. Be pretty cool if TGC2 had VR support. Even though TGC isn't the greatest game it's the community here that really sets it apart and still makes it appealing. There is going to be a VR version of TGC and it will work with Oculus Rift surprised not available for PS4 with PS4 VR coming out next week. Did anyone play online on Bombers Tour with Links LS great guy ran the tour by the name of Lee Harris?
