I like the idea of a World Cup or something like the States tournament Chris ran but with some qualifying involved. Maybe get equal representation or close from all levels to form one team so the playing field is somewhat level. The States thing was fun at first till it was obvious some teams were loaded with Pros. It became more of getting swings in for the lower guys. Like to get new courses visibility too....in any play format or contest decided.

I was thinking something similar but as i'm an Aussie you could include Australian states as well, depending on numbers if you could have 1 or 2 players from each level on each team for the final rounds and use an average of those players scores for the winning team.

Interesting idea, either 3 or 6 per team. 1 pro 1 Web 1 cc per team so it will be more level. States or county's or city's are one way or fave teams from any sport is another. This could lead to a couple of teams from the same city if we get too many from there.

I like this idea and say teams of 3, 1 pro 1 web and 1 cc per team and play an opposing team in matchplay style, pro v pro, web v web, cc v cc and the winning team advances. As for the team names, depends on how many we have, if we get plenty then they can pick a name for themselves, first come first named something. What do you think?

I will be doing this in Endeavour 3 actually. Based on the 24 people involved there now I will have PC vs XB1 vs PS4 go 3 rounds. One round team match play 2PC vs 2XB1 vs 2PS4 earning points based on placement. One round stableford...same format. One round individual match play with 1 person per platform squaring off. Looking forward to it and I will open it up in the hopes of possible gaining 8 additional players.

How about The World vs Canada! Oh...
Seriously though, there's a lot of head to head and match play things (that limit the number of competitors). What about something similar to the RRCC except have the golfers in flights? Kinda like road racing. Everybody is on the same track but we are competing in flights/classes. So, make it a weekly or bi-weekly thing with 2 rounds on 2-3 courses with flights split up by PGA/Euro, Web, CC Pro, and CC AM (or maybe just CC) with some sort of scoring system. I like competing with all the better players and all but it would be interesting to do that and also be competing directly with the players at the level at which you play.
I think a longer format might be fun as well. Have it be 2 rounds per course over 3-4 different courses. Settings could be a little tougher on the 2nd rounds, but something reasonably fair.
That's my idea. I'm not one of the elite players and I think having a few of these things that are aimed at all the players makes things fun.

OK so that style of event is covered for the mo. What other type of event would people like?

Dug That's why in my suggestion I said teams of 3 and we can have as many teams of 3 as possible as long as each is balanced. The other idea was of having green grids off but everything else on or approach cam off but everything else in.

The other idea was of having green grids off but everything else on or approach cam off but everything else in. I wasn't replying regarding any of the other suggestions. This was what I thought was my own unique suggestion. Probably none of them are completely unique. I like to mix in some events where I can just play and not be concerned about it being a limited number of players or I have to be on a team. I can play the RRCC but I can't really have any chance of "winning." Not that I have to, but it is fun to compete overall and with your own level of competition. RRCC (which I really like) also seems too short; thought having 6-8 rounds would also make it more interesting. I don't know if that interests others, but it might. Dug

Or represent your favourite team New York Yankees vrs Woking town FC Or how about each player picks their favorite Pro Golfer to represent ? They could actually play them as a guest player and both scores are taken. For example I would choose Henrik Stenson add him as my guest player and report both my score and my guest players score? I like the sport theme as well, since I am originally from the USA and New England I would go with my beloved and most hated team lol NE PATS

With the cc ryder cup winding down, I will be setting up another event but not sure what. Waldini has the stableford covered for the cc level and tgc tours covers the normal tourneys.
Which of the ideas mentioned so far would you like made into a tourney or do you have an idea for something new?
