After my little remark when posting my scores, waldini asked me "How were the courses?"
Maybe I am getting old and crotchety having just passed my 72nd birthday, but I thought the first course, Chardon was awful. I thought I had stumbled into some weird dystopian world. Recently someone created a Rage Quit Tour, and Chardon wouldn't have been out of place. I have never "Rage Quit" a tournament in my 2 years on TGC, but this time I was really close. I noticed that someone was told it was OK to chip on the green, if only I'd known that. It would have helped! My concentration was totally blown after 9 holes.
The greens were NOT a fair test!
By the time I got to the second course, Wailea, and saw the major downhill drive on the 1st, I thought that I was in a fantasy land. I played on and it was much too "technicolor" for my liking, but of course my judgement was seriously clouded by that time.
By the end I had regained my composure somewhat and avoided total meltdown.
I think my opponent Phlyer Phanatic will have no trouble beating my scores.
Good Luck PP31, you'll need it!

"I noticed that someone was told it was OK to chip on the green" I keep to the rules, no chipping on greens unless there is rough obstructing my putt to the pin. I guess I am following the TGC rules here.Having looked at the course on a practice run chipping sounds like its needed lol .. but will stick with my thought.

Glen Wilkin R1 = 34 pts (really tough but soothed my self loathing with the thought that eveyone is wading through the same s$#%) R2 = 42 pts (very nice course but miss read some greens with lots of shadows on the deck)
Total = 76 pts
Good luck Carla. You should be able to beat it if you can grab some of those birdies I left out there for you. All the best.

I guess I am following the TGC rules here.Having looked at the course on a practice run chipping sounds like its needed lol .. but will stick with my thought. I chipped on the green because there was a slope of fringe/green that impeded my path to the hole. The way the slope was, if I played the break to try and get it close, I would of had to aim at the greenside fringe/rough, so it was impossible to putt and get it anywhere near the hole. Thats the only time I've ever chipped on the green in this game in my career, and I thought it best to post a message about it explaining why. On the back nine at some point, like hole 12 or 13 I think, I had an 86 foot putt that was at least a foot or two uphill with break, but I used putter because there was nothing impeding my line to the hole. If you have PS4, feel free to check out my ghost.

I'm guessing you're referring to my comment. I thought he was being upfront about chipping and I just cracked a joke. I wouldn't and I don't think anyone else here signs up to cheat. Sorry if it was misunderstood.
