Well they were some lovely courses Paul, windy or not. It took a lot to overcome that mammoth score James set for me and I dug deep. Great game James, you played really well. Thanks for the comeraderie over the past 10 weeks and I look forward to smashing around against you in future comps. well done glen, i kind of knew that the 49 might not have been enough as the speed of the greens got me a couple of times on the first course or would have been around 54 and on the 2nd, a bad run in the middle almost had me getting a sub 40 but hit a few birds near the end to try and save it. 98 is an awesome score, well done, you deserved it, you were the best player in the league putting up good score after good score every week so knew it would be a tough task to beat you so happy with 2nd this time. no probs, it was fun and if theres a season 2, im coming for the title lol since i was up against some web players, im happy i played good enough to play at their level and even beat some of them and this is my best result in a community event so far lol though in final of my own team fourball as well. just wish i could turn this kind of form into tour form and i might make web one day.

I will be continuing with events after new year and hope you and the others do as well. thanks for running this.

Cheers guys. You will be in Web before you know it James. That first course was sublime. First time I have had 4 eagles in one round. The second course was good as well, I hit my stale patch in the first 4 holes (all par) but then I got my eye in and started to drop the putts in. This was my first solo win in an event, community or tour. Won a team match play event just before this tourney, but my partner was Jimmy Kuo so the win was a forgone conclusion before the event started. Look forward to defending the title...bring it on buddy.
