The Titan vs Mr. Olympia vol.II
Seeing another opportunity to wrestle power away from Mr. Olympia the mighty Titan shook the imprisoning shackles of Tatarus. The shock alone of the sight of the mighty Titan on the first tee sent Mr. Olympia into a trembling state of fear.
With great concentration and precision the Titan played two pretty good rounds and will await Mr. Olympia on the 18th green to see who won this second round of the battle of the God's.
R1-44 R2-42

Does this game offer modified stableford? Just curious What is modified Stableford? A more interesting way to score in the holes. I think eagle is worth five points and a few more changes. The one used in the pro events I guess. And theiv no, the game does not offer it.

Yeah... I believe it's 8 pts for an albatross, 5 for an eagle, 2 for a birdie, 0 for a par, -1 for a bogey, and -3 for double bogey or worse. So the caveat is that going birdie/bogey at net 1 is better than going par/par at net 0, so it rewards more aggressive play, whereas with regular stableford, birdie/bogey would net 4 and par/par would also net 4.
There really isn't any difference between regular scoring and regular stableford, with the exception that in the former you want a lower number and the latter you want a bigger number, and for weekend hackers like me, it can speed up play since there's no point in playing after you're on double bogey or worse(although this isnt really all that applicable to tgctours).
Anyway, they used to use modified stableford in The International at Castle Pines GC, Colorado, before they canceled that tournament. I loved that tournament because of the scoring system, and the crazy elevation allowed for some insane drives and par 5s reached in 2.
Im not sure if they use modified in any tournaments, currently. Modified stableford is great... it's actually different than regular scoring, and also encourages risky play.
