Clint Kelso 39. Winds were high but the pin pavements we tough. Lots of side hills 41 worst putting round I have ever had. Missed 3 eagle putts within 8 ft and 5 birdie putts 80. Rhino4life. I snuck by this week good match brother It took me several holes before I found a fairway and I walked away with a few holes with zero points. Wasn't my best outing to say the least. Good match

Struggled in round 1 much better round 2. A close contest, from which I scraped my first win of the competition. Mine was a game of four halves I played poorly over the front nine in round one, finishing it one over par, but came back strongly with four birdies on the back. In round two I was fairly certain after six holes that I was done and dusted, standing at par (and thus just 12 of the 41 points I required for a tie) and struggling to get the ball close to the hole. However my round was ignited by knocking a five wood stiff for the four pointer on ten and two pitch and putt birdies on 12 and 13 left me needing to cruise in for the win, which I did plus the bonus of a twelve footer for birdie on 17. Thanks for the game Richard - pretty evenly matched I'd say. Final tally 39 and 43 for 82.

courses like Aardvark is everything i hate about this game I don't mind the odd toughie, especially as the stableford scoring means that a really bad hole doesn't cost you quite as much as it might in strokeplay (I had a five putt triple on an early hole in my CC-B third round and was never able to claw my way back to respectability). For interest I've been reading the flight A-C thread over the past couple of days (having ignored it until then) and they had similar complaints about a course that Paul chose for week two (you may remember that he changed the courses for us, because we finished later than the other half) but with mixed responses. I don't think that you can please everyone all of the time, but at least the fact that we only play one round per course eases the pain of one you don't get on with.

Your right Steve you can't please everyone but I do try and give you guys a mix up of courses that are not so easy that you can just drive chip putt for a easy birdy every hole. But on the other hand I want this to be something you all enjoy and have fun playing, so trying to find that balance is difficult sometimes.

I tend to prefer difficult courses. I lose almost every match but that way I have an explanation for my defeat
