so you got your card, how do you think you will fair on the year? I can see myself in and out of the top 15 but rarely besting the top 10. though through steady progress, I think i can sneak in a top 10 overall finish if i can compete in a max amount of events. is it 4 events we have to miss every season? if so i have already planned my schedule to play 10 euro crossover events.

Congrats to everybody on the Tour! Looking forward to some great competition. This just makes me want to work harder to improve my game. I am probably a middle of the pack player but hope to turn some of those lip outs into birdies and crack the top 10 every now and then.

If I can make the top ten every so often that my goal
What I am hopping for is to make the cuts, make some money and get my pick of country club!

I consider myself an Executive Tour golfer who happened to luck upon a PGA Tour card. I consider myself Executive Tour caliber because 1.) I have only logged about 50 rounds compared to others in the thousands and 2) Available time to practice, I'll be lucky to keep pace with 4 rounds/week on the PGA Tour.
I will certainly never win a PGA tourney this year. While I do believe in miracles, and I have no doubt I could score really low in a round if my putter is on fire...having 4 back-to-back miracles to complete an entire tournament are highly unlikely. My biggest downfall is that I am a "feel" golfer and not a "mapper". I'm not saying "feel" golfers can't compete, but doing only part of the math on every shot over the long run is likely not going to match up well with someone who has every club distance, loft, wind, etc adjustment down to a science. That's not a dig, I used to map in the past and it's completely fair game like having a real life caddy helping you with shots. It's just my personal preference now to play by feel as I like the uncertainy of play like that.
All that said, nothing is a lock when it comes time to play. Average golfers will catch fire and the big dogs will fumble on occasion. Nobody expected Larry Mize to wear a green jacket either. We all start the tourneys with the same score and I expect their to be plenty of stories of triumph and tragedy. My real goal is to have fun, improve, and contribute to and support TGCTours in any way possible.
Peace out, Merry Christmas to the TGCT Staff and my fellow competitors!

After seeing how strong the competition is, I will be happy to make cuts. I shot -12 in Qualifying school, but I will need to do better to even make the top 50.

I hope to make as many cuts as possible. Top 30 would be great, but I think that may be a stretch. +1

Personally I'm not making any assumptions, players are getting better and better daily around here.
Any advantage PC players had with the amount of time they have played here is dissipating quickly, which by the way is the only advantage they had, all that other hubbub I read is pure rubbish, IMHO.

Happy I made it to the PGA. Finished Q-school at -10 so I was towards the back of the pack. Personal goals are to make the cuts consistently, and not lose my tour card this year.

My putter will determine my fate! I have to really work on it... Then hopefully I will be in the running for something good. My dream would be to play in one of the majors!

Top 20s and playing in all of the Majors in the inaugural year of TGCTours is my goal. Winning an event is likely out of reach without some magic of putting it all together for 4 rounds. I was solid in Q-School finishing at -25 (T69) with E rounds at Copper Creek and Son Gual. My putting is giving me problems right now. So, I have to get that sorted out. Beyond that I would love to have a course or two show up on one of the tours. That would be the equivalent of winning an event IMHO.

My goal is to make it to the tour championship (top 30). I think I am literally a top 50 player on the PGA, so I will have to improve. Make cuts, as many top 20's as possible. Going to be about consistency for me instead of flashes of greatness.

I think winning one tournament and finishing in the top10 for the season is a realistic but fair goal for me. I'll be near the top a few weeks...but well down the leaderboard other weeks.
