Are you all looking forward to another defeat?

Europe will have to start playing better for this result.

I voted tie because I am an ass and no one likes ties.

Need 3-1 Europe this afternoon or we're already done

5-3 USA at the end of day one. Good comeback to the Euros.

So many short putts missed.. The pressure!
USA leads 9 1/2 to 6 1/2. USA needs 5 points of 12 to steal back the cup.

Looking grim. Should have let Chris Wood play instead of Kaymer. Even Sergio couldn't fix that mess. Westwood needs to start contributing as well. But with good match ups in the singles still possible.

Westwood missed at least three 5-foot or less putts on that back 9. Hes a liability.

Spieth wasn't playing that well either, maybe they can play against each other.

The competition has been so close in every department apart from on the greens. That's golf for you though. By the way, I've secondly seen a number of putts which in real life would have gone in but missed 😀

It was all looking close until that last hour, I think that will be the defining period of this Ryder Cup. Patrick Reed is your Ian Poulter, he basically played Stenson and Rose on his own and won, can't deny how good he was. Must admit, I did fear the worst when I saw the afternoon match ups - why was Chris Wood not playing? I think Clark fell in to the trap of picking experience over form.
Really can't see Europe coming back this time, but as we've seen before you never know! The Ryder Cup is great at producing drama and excitement, we may see a bit more yet....
