With Chris taking a sanity break of tournament organizing I have decided to help out in this area because I really believe that its not only fun but helps a lot of us playing in the Challenge Circuit. I do not know yet if I will keep it as the Endeavour name or change it something like the "Irving Levine Appreciation Tour" but regardless of what the name is...I am hopeful a lot of the same people will sign up who were in it prior to it closing down and we can get back to having some fun, humor, and competitive swings. I will make every effort to try and do things as well as he did.
In case you are not familiar with the first tournament there were 12 teams (24 players) before with a few A, B, and C guys but more than half the field were D or below as it concluded. It will operate much the same way it did before....2 courses, 6 days to play, posting your scores (pretty important) which will be combined for a lowest under par total. The winner of each match will receive 10pts, ties will receive 5pts each. At the end we can do a seeded bracket or a small elimination tourney for the top teams. I am open to mixing things up a bit and not only playing your total under par score as Endeavour was on its own but also doing best ball (score) as a team mixed in for a week or so.
In terms of organizing teams I am going to let that be fluid at the moment and see who wishes to play and what levels they are. If you prefer to stick with the person you were playing with before and you both agree.... please mention it. I am hoping all the teams we have will be in a 5 to 8 area (meaning a A=6, B=5, Z=1) when your levels are added together. Beyond that I really don't want two A's or B's or Z's together either but I understand that you will take more of an interest and responsibility to play your rounds if you are playing with someone you may know or enjoy to play with. Let's just see how it works out and we can finalize at that point.
Having said all of that...if you are interested in playing please leave your name, IGN or forum name, and your current circuit level. I am not as familiar with the who's who as Chris was so the more info you can give me the easier it will be to learn it. T
Thanks for you time
