Licences can be patched, takes a bit of time to sort out but once it's sorted you have footballing perfection

I treated myself to a PS4 and FIFA 17 when the £149 offer was on last week. I got my console on Friday and am still waiting on delivery of FIFA 17.

I haven't played FIFA (or PES) since the days of the PS2 but tried the demos of both last night. PES felt familiar despite the number of years since I played it. FIFA just felt a bit clunky in comparison. I have, however, given the FIFA 17 demo another go tonight. I'm slowly getting into it.

Watching a few FIFA 17 streams, all the different game modes seem a bit overwhelming to someone like me coming back to it after many years. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

It didn't take long before my first controller was thrown across the room. Right trigger snapped.

Is it just a case of getting beaten 1,2,3,4,5 nil until I get enough coins to buy better players. I thought computer games were meant to be fun?

It's all a bit of a struggle at the moment.

I'm struggling big time with Fifa tbh. I played 15 a fair bit but missed 16 out and atm I just can't get my head around it.

The mechanics seem totally different and I can't seem to get the ball off my opponents and I'm only playing the cpu on pro level!

The journey seems a pretty damn good addition though. I'm enjoying that.

put it on easy setting then just to have fun and get used to it. I cant see how u build up a pro player, I don't think is any gameface this year

There are some things that have been tweaked that are better, many are the same old same old. I do like that you can more effectively hold the ball and use strength to your advantage. Extremely disappointed that Creation Centre seems to be dead and gone. I primarily play Career mode these days, but might be open to Pro Club play.

I have created a pro club team on ps4 called, surprisingly, The Golf Club. I had a little go last night and building your pro is all done with online play, its good fun. I wont be on much but thought I would create it anyway
