Still trying to land that last US Ryder Cup spot...maybe being final 6 here will help my cause.

I'm amazed that I'm still in this thing. Round two, blueorfe PC -14 I got one 93% contact on the second hole par three and a nasty fringe bounce on the next par three, which put me through the green. Other than that the game was a lot friendlier to me than round one. I made two eagles on the par 5's with putts inside 8 feet, that made things a lot easier. I don't know if I could have got any hotter. Shot a 55 for -17. -18 was in the bag too as I had 18 yards left on the 17th hole Par 4 which 311 yards. Was looking to do a half flop but not sure what I was thinking and swing it full and flew over the green, lol. Was able to save par
Should be enough to move on . I need these type of rounds in the finals if I can make it

Round 2 - -9 Had a double bogey on a par 3 when my swing cone decided I took a 90 degree turn and went about 10 yards into the ocean...
Absolutely loved the course, one of the nicest visually I've played in a while.

Ahh crap, didn't even realize I was in this tournament until now. Will it be too late for me to work through the early rounds?
Read through the thread. Looks like I missed it. A message telling me this thread was open would have been appreciated!

Seth, thanks for organizing this tour. Please donate my $10 gift card for winning the the initial tournament to the runner up of the Gauntlet. Looks like I might have gone to the final round of top 3 if -9 ends up being the cut off for the second round.

Just looked through my profile notifications and you indeed did tag me. Must have been one of those times where I woke up in the morning and checked my overnight notifications and fell asleep at the phone! I appreciate the response though. Not like I'm beating Ian anyway.

Sorry bud! I have been a terrible event organizer though. Little notice for this last leg, but life's been in the way. I'm typing this from my phone on break at work as a matter of fact!
As for Ian, he kind if fell asleep in this last one, it was a good opportunity to knock him out.

On the contrary, anyone offering up their own money for tournament prizes is alright in my book!

Results are in
Jt Current and Sixpenny have been eliminated. There was a 3 way tie for the 6th spot so Doyley, JJ, and Lowe pass through.
Bass, Sweeney, Dale, Bradley, and Burton move on as well.
I'll tag every one later so that no one misses this.
Good Luck ya'll! Barring a tie, only 3 moving on to the next.

I got my third round in last night at Willowbank. For some reason I thought that the deadline was the 18th. Silly me, that was for round two Anyway...I posted a 59, -13 total. I'm pretty sure that that isn't going to be enough this time. I was going along nicely, then I shanked a couple of tee shots into the rough, costing me good birdie chances. Then on 17, I hit a sweet drawn tee shot to the little strip of fairway on the right to set up a 65 yard pitch, only to hit a SW instead of a PW, coming up 15 yards short of the pin! I made a clutch birdie putt on 18 at least, after leaving an evil 8 footer with a poor pitch. I'll be hanging around if I'm needed back, but I can't see it. Good luck all

I'm out...just played poorly and couldn't get anything going on an easy course...still shaking my head...63 (-9). Good luck to the rest of the guys. I think Ian might have this one. I saw his scores...I'll let him post his own scores. Great shooting Ian!
