Looking to refill the Rangers will some more active members - please let me know if this is a position you would be interested in
SummaryThe TGCT Ranger group would consist of people from all 3 systems. Their job will be to playtest courses we're looking to have on tour - mainly for lag but also for game breaking issues like pins on red slopes etc. Our team of schedulers will feed courses to the Ranger group to play and then look for feedback on the forums (hidden board). Those of you that would like to volunteer sign up below. This will be a great way to give back to the community and all you need to do is play golf! Job Description- Test for lag (main duty)
- keep an eye out for issues - pins on red/yellow slopes, lack of OB in certain areas
- provide feedback on forums in a timely manner

Hey Doyley, I will give it a try, but I'd need a good explanation of what lag is and to what degree it is problematic.

Bill Allen C6vette2010 PS4 Lag is when your screen framerate drops and starts stuttering or causing your golfer animation to stutter. It's usually caused by courses that have too much on them - ie lots of trees and shadows and is bogging down your machine's cpu. It's problematic when it becomes noticiable - if you find the animation smooth when you swing or when the camera pans down the hole during a flyover etc then you are experiencing no lag. |
