I know I am not the only one who plays in Real Life. I know I am not the only one with a camera on my cell phone ... So, Lets see some Pictures of your golf outings ... I'll start off with A few of the Wildlife found at "The Reserve @ Spanos Park" (my home course) ... Here are some of our local resident "Blue Heron" I took while out on the course yesterday. These were taken on the 18th fairway ... (I was looking for my ball ...) The Heron was not liking my presence ... Just after it took flight ... Escape ... to the 9th fairway ...

Wow, knew I recognised the name Spanos Park from somewhere! I've played there...that might not be such a big thing if not for the fact that I live in Sweden! Really nice course! Played a few years back with a friend of mine who used to live in Sacramento.

And a few more ... Par 3 13th ... Beavers on 13 ... we have 4 of them that hang out on the pond between the 13th/14th holes ... nice sized Bass in there as well ... we have several resident coyotes that fear no golfer and some are almost tame ...

How do you like the RBZ? I have the same driver and 3 wood. When my computer crashed, I lost all my own photos, but here are some of my "home course" (don't really have one but used to work here for 3 years), Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club. I have probably played this course 100 times or so. My favorite shift was getting off at 430, then going out as the last tee time of the day and locking up gates and pins (could rip through with a cart in under 2 hours, playing 2 balls . If you look at these pictures and pictures of Devil's Escarpment (my WIP) you will see I get alot of inspiration from here. Hole 1- a fairly short and easy par 4 to start the day. Hole 3- The start of what I call the "gauntlet" Holes 3-8 are very tough here. This is one of the toughest par 3's in the area. 195 yard par 3..need about 180 of carry if you want to reach the green. Most people chicken out and play it to the left then chip on. I have lost many a ball in that ravine. Hole 12- My favorite par 3. 145 yards over a ravine with a rockface at the back. More than a few times I have bounced it off the rock face and on to the green (or into the ravine) The approach on 15. 430 yard par 4 with a 125 foot drop from tee to fairway, then about 170 over the ravine to the pin. My favorite hole. I"m pretty spoiled with scenery with courses around here.

If you look at these pictures and pictures of Devil's Escarpment (my WIP) you will see I get alot of inspiration from here. [snipped for readability] I"m pretty spoiled with scenery with courses around here. I have been playing Taylormades for a few years now (like 35+) ... I'm a fanboy ... I love'em ... I just recently upgraded my irons from r7s to rocketbladez the season. My woods and rescues from r7s to RBZ Stage 2's [3w 14.5 adjustable; 3hyb 19; 4hyb 22; 5hyb 25; 6hyb 28] My driver was just recently replaced (for free by Taylormade) to the Jet Speed 10.5 adjustable (as I splintered my graphite shaft on a drive ... my clubhead went farther than the ball ... I could see why you like the trees ... Some of our courses, once you get into the Serra foothills look like that ... but, then we get the Giant Sequoia redwoods ... Hilly and lots of trees ... Played a few nice courses around the lake Tahoe area ... they look the same ... Some of our courses along the coast between Santa Cruz and Monterrey ... are like that too ... but those cost serious money to play ... I play my home course for free ... use to be a Marshall there, now I work the "range" for pocket change ...
