Good luck on your quest. I have been through all the controllers (XB1 and PS4 anyway) and tried with a mouse too (for about 1 hour before I gave up on that). Only other lame suggestions I can make is to turn up the mouse sensitivity in game setting and if you have any software controlling your PS4 controller or Bluetooth input device, check those settings. I am sure you have already done those things though... I know that when I started playing with the PS4 controller, I tried to calibrate the "joystick" via the windows calibration tool and it introduced all kinds of lag and caused severe less than 100% shots. I quickly turned that off... Best software for me is no software when it comes to this.

Interesting tho, when I did it this way, I could swing by pulling one of the triggers. I got 100% every time and it was what is looking 100% straight. Now in this 'mode' i can't aim or change loft, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless that the swing appears to be able to be programmed to the triggers. I wonder if anyone else has done that. I would also imagine that it would register as a 100% straight swing and earn anyone who did an auto DQ. I use the DS4windows program. I definitely am not getting the tempo swing but I can get a pretty consistent 100% by jamming it up. I'll have to experiment more because I would much prefer a tempo swing than one with a pause. I figured as a challenge I would start a "season" LOL.. -3 on the first tourney.. So sad.

Looking at a few videos of those who use controllers, I'm seeing every single one pausing at the top and not going for the tempo swing.
Wow that is going to be an interesting transition when TGC 2 comes out when it is going to be ALL about tempo.

So I was in a store the other day and picked up this controller and found it a lot more to my liking than the xbox controller. I noticed today that Sony has announced a $25 dongle that will allow it to play wirelessly on PC with full functions, no more installing special drivers. All buttons will be mapable and functioning. It is something I may consider trying and was wondering how people feel about this controller who are using it on the PS4? Can't speak directly for the PS4 pad, but if it's anything like the PS3 controller it should do fine. I use PS3 controllers wirelessly with my PC and it works swimmingly. I noticed even just on picking this game up, my swing stick shots are nice and straight, no problems hitting 100% power, and even partial shots and putting weren't a problem.

Yeah I'm just not getting the hang of it. Either I gotta slam that stick forward and risk an errant shot or take a shot under 100%. Remember I'm doing this left handed (cause of my right thumb has had a few operations). So it may be that I just can't do it left handed.

Maybe it's all the years playing Tiger Woods games, but the swing stick seems pretty easy to hit center for me. There's enough leeway in it that I almost feel I'd have to intentionally duff a shot to hit it way off center.
