Thanks Sam I'll have a look at that soon. Well guys it's been a long night only TWO holes left to layout and build then the hard parts are done and I may throw a beta to see how it's received and get some feedback. The issue I've ran into is getting the correct trees anyone have any suggestions??? Maybe look at some pics and help me find something that works.

i am proud to say that i was the first to play it on the Xbox. put up a decent score of -9 even though i missed at least six putts/chips that i could have made. i can't really give feedback on the course other than a few of the holes start your aim off in the rough. anyone who doesn't look at the sight line before swinging will be very unhappy by the end of the round. it looks fantastic so far as i can tell, but i've never played the real life course so i have no clue how realistic it is.
P.S. loved the "bridge" in front of 6. i had no clue how you were going to do that, and i chuckled a bit when i saw the flat land ahead of me and realized what it was.

Played it thorough earlier, looking great even though clearly unfinished just yet. I think you should use highlands bushes sized up for the trees, they look really close from the pics I've seen. Makings of a fantastic course regardless of accuracy. I do plan to get pics side by side when I have time to help on that aspect of things, but as I said, fun round of golf already with some epic views. Great great start Mitch

Thanks to both of you and yes those were my plans to scale some bushes up but I'm just unsure on the looks of it I need much better designers input on it like you and some others thanks so much guys really appreciate any and all help. Would be awesome if someone would do me a play through and point out anything and give suggestions.

Having a big issue with holes wanting to automatically choose 3w off the tee even though the marker is clearly further than 265 off the tee any suggestions?

Gave the course a play and it's not bad but clearly still needs work to see if it can become good or great. I think the biggest problem may be beyond your control in that this course was obviously designed around the ocean views so once you get away from the water those holes just seem bland in comparison. I doubt any amount of planting will change that. A great start though and I'm looking forward to a prettied up version.

I'm with pyates on this one. I would give SERIOUS thought to doing this in tropical, Mitch. Water will look amazing, you're almost guaranteed to have winds, and, most importantly, there is a decent selection of trees that fit the look (not talking about the palms) that you're going to need to pull this off. Upsizing bushes won't look as clean on this in the final product. Just my opinion, brother...but I'd give it a very serious thought.
