I don't think its exactly a good idea to leave that post up giving details on how to game the system. It was a very interesting read though. Ye if admin wanna take parts down they can. Dont think there is any details on the "How" part though. Actually there was 1 which has now been removed.

Wow- I never knew that cheating on this game could be so sophisticated. I thought straight-shooting was about as far as cheating could go. Straight-shooting is peanuts compared to the other stuff I guess.

This is what I don't get. What exactly do people get, satisfaction wise, out of cheating?
Let's say, as an example, somebody somehow managed to find a pro TGCT player who they paid off to come to their house (airfare paid, etc) and play their tourney for them in order to say, get into the PGA and they tear up the course and the person gets their PGA card. From that point, they play all other tourneys on their own and show their true skill and stink up most weeks.
Does that really make them feel good that they have a PGA card? They didn't earn it. Some guy off the street who you paid $500 in airfare not to mention room and board for the week was the one who actually got you your card. You did absolutely nothing.
I don't know about everybody else, but I'd get absolutely ZERO satisfaction out of that. The most exciting day of my life here was when I earned my Web card. Watching that leader board, praying to make the cut, which I did by one stroke. That made me feel good. Not if I had paid somebody to play that week for me and possibly even win the tourney. I'd get nothing out of that satisfaction wise.
So I'm sorry, but I don't get it. Unless it's simply to say "I cheated and didn't get caught." If that's the satisfaction part, I feel very sorry for these people because they must have very empty lives.

Ego, lack of respect for Tim and the gang, lack of respect for the community, what makes one cheat at a GAME? I am older than most of you and maybe that the time I was raised in shapes my mindset. Steve threatened certain members. A leopard does not change his spots. He was caught for cheating and couldn't accept the punisment. What makes you think he will accept it this time? I say the punishment cannot be severe enough . Let's don't resemble American society today, and make cheating and bad behavior the norm as it is not punished. Let's us keep it where it belongs, kicked to the curb. And by the way, it should not matter if he is a good course designer. My opinion.
We should all appreciate the time and effort that goes into running this site by being responsible and accountable.

Did I miss something? This is for fake trophies and fake money right? Do you guys really want me to spend 2/3 hours away from my family and other obligations to readjust and reallocate some fake money and trophies? Wow. I'm neutral on this matter, and will never be a threat to the Elite, but the Devil's Advocate in me wants to remind that it was the above mindset that caused someone obsessed to try to loophole his way to fake money and trophies. Catch-22. I don't think the person should be rewarded for their skirting the system, but I also don't feel TGCT should invest countless hours adjusting everything else. At the least, do what you did to Steve. Strip him of his Tour Wins, and name the alternate as the Champion. Don't adjust $$$, but award true winners their due.
