Well done Team 8 team 16 oh well not sure how many didn't play on our team next time!
Would it be a good idea in future to have a reserve or drop the lowest score?

one of the most disappointing performances I've had in the stableford event with 171 yet our team leads in first place! The irony of it! even if we don't win, it's still a strong team performance so well done team m8s lol m8 it seems i did choose right with my ghost partner, you pipped me over the 4 rounds just and pipped my team, just hehe. well done if you win. cheers!

Final ScoreTeam 8. 879 pts Team 10. 876 pts Team 12. 873 pts Team 7. 871 pts Team 6 & Team 3. 868 pts Team 13 & Team 4 861 pts Team 14. 854 pts Team 2. 852 pts Team 9. 842 pts Team 1. 841 pts Team 11. 830 pts The tournament has now concluded, congratulations to team 8. Thanks to everyone that played. Thank you for your efforts Chris. With the amount of tournaments you put together, you deserve a personal title. 13 teams of 19 completed here is better than the sixth tournament I suppose. To the field: With Mr. Loughrey's constant thread and message updates, there's no good reason why that completion number shouldn't be closer to 17 of 19 completed or better. I get that real life sometimes gets in the way. But whenever you visit this website and see the red thread notification button on the right, that should be a reminder that you should take that two hours out of your life to complete a tournament that you explicitly signed up for. Not ignore it! It's really a slap in the face to the multitude of hours he puts into keeping these threads running, not to mention all those personal messages and reminders he sends out. And even more, he's not once complained about those that have no showed. If your mentality is that you are going to wait for ghost balls before you play, maybe try being the first out in the field for once. Well said! 👏

Only discovered at the last minute while working a Night Shift, that I'd been given an invite into this Team Tournament. Thankfully, Loughrey was on line at the time, so I was able to book my place. I find it hard to believe that so many people could let a team down. Especially with the effort that Loughrey had put in to create this event.
I know unforeseen circumstances can prevent someone from taking part after they have signed up. But maybe we could have a late entry system in future. If someone knows they can't play then inform Loughrey via email. Or if its getting close to the deadline and the late players don't respond to emails sent to them, then they could be eliminated and replaced by a reserve, which could be advertised on the Forum.
Anyway, I enjoyed taking part even though Team 19, never completed. Well done to Team 8 on your victory. And thanks to Loughrey for the invite.

As others have said, well done Team 8 and thanks as always to @loughrey for organising it. I'll never understand people who sign up for something and then don't play. If you don't want to or can't play then fair enough, but then don't sign up!! Quite simple really.

I actually played and submitted a miserable score of 130 (it's about right for my level cc-e) but I guess that's better than not playing and therefore submitting no score at all.

What happened to team 18? No shows? Tighten up people. Maybe they knew I was on team 18 and said f**k that. The last Team Stableford same thing happened and my team never finished as well. 2 DNFs in a row...

Don't sweat it, it's all for a little fun, that's why I don't understand why folks can't get it done, just for fun guys, if you sign up then play, common courtesy.
