These are my reasons why I'm glad this game is not for real... I've played well over a thousand rounds now, and at £15 a round like they charge at my local course, I would need a huge bank loan every year just to keep playing. No matter what the weather is outside or in the game, I stay warm and dry. I never break any clubs in anger. I don't have to clean my clubs anymore, which was always pain. And I never have to replace them either. I never lose any balls, which I managed to do many times. You never have to stand around waiting for slow players in front to finish off, or being rushed from behind by some impatient Git!.
Yes, this game is not for real, and I'm glad it isn't. It's just the best golf game I've ever played, and I believe it's going to get even better.

Hahaha. I can imagine right now. I'm on the 17th needing a birdie putt to try and make the cut. Lining my putt up but what's this? Ian Sweeney, in the group behind, has just smashed his ball onto the green and told me to hurry the @!$# up. The impatient git! I hate impatient gits! One of my pet peeves. Also hate slow players...it's a fine line!
