Lowdon, for some reason it's a PC thing with the mountainous Delta background. I had a beta for my Wadi Siji course with that background and Han informed me how bad it was lagging on PC. I changed it and he said there were no problems.

Ok, I've republished it with a different background. I'm going to multi-pin the course at some point anyway so I've called it Clube Olimpico Rocinha (Thu).

I tried the course drlowdon and loved it since the start of my playtrough. From a cosmetic point of view the design is very very very neat and precise - there's almost nothing out of place and the balance between some fine and classy detail (clubhouse with parking lot, fences here and there..) and the plantation si fantastic. I am a fan of that "funneling" kind of plantation that guides you trough the course, so I'm biased here but you did an amazing job. Excellent working also on bunkers, lightning, water, retaining walls and those little hidden areas like the island with the trees remains on hole #6. I found light work to be absolutely perfect to, and the only downside I can find on an absolute beauty is that road left of hole #13 (kinda sloppy IMHO) But with this course you don't just mastered eyesights. The green sculpting is amongst the best I've ever encountered and please just picture me applauding you for 10mins cause that's what happened when I could land some nicely planned shot on your greens. The size, the slopes, the hazards and the pin positions combines themselves to create a perfect balance between punishing careless shots and rewarding very well planned and executed ones - I loved every single approach I had I also enjoyed your choice to mix it up between some straight-forward fairways and some little more tricky ones on the course: it gives every kind of player the right balance between a relaxed round and an edgy one; I admit I'd have preferred to be challenged more from the tee tough, even lured to take some risky shots. However, If winds will go up (I had low ones) I believe the course will pose a slightly tougher challenge All in all I loved it and it's on my favs with a 9/10 - looking forward to playing more of your courses! Onto some data right now

This course is a very attractive use of the delta theme - I never could figure out how to get the deep rough to blend nicely to the natural coloured terrain, but you've done a lovely job here. I enjoyed the round, shooting -4, which may mean that the course was a little easy for the competition but that played exactly to my liking.
Once thing I might have done different is avoid following a reachable par 5 with a driveable par 4, but then again that's an approach you've taken and I think it works, providing a nice and gentle stretch just before the turn. I think it was the 16th that the only way I was ever going to make par was to miss the green and then chip close but that could just be down to my limited ability.
Best of luck in the competition to you.

The 16th is the short par 3 so you should be able to hold the green with a decent shot, maybe its a different hole you're thinking of.

I think it was the 16th, I had some pretty deadly wind and didn't trust myself not to roll down the tier. Basically it seemed like the safest way to play the hole, I'm not saying I couldn't stick the green. Not really a criticism of your design, more an observation on the coming together of the course and the game mechanics.

Nice course Dr. I really enjoyed it. It was almost a week ago that I played it so I'm struggling with some detailed feed back, I just remember i really enjoyed the experience and felt almost every hole was birdie able but you had to earn most of them with a very well thought out approach or a 20 or 30 foot putt. Good job and best of luck.

Finally resumed my tour of these courses. Thought this was an excellent course from start to finish. Whilst nothing really blew me away visually, it looked great and in terms of the golfing experience, it was a fun yet challenging round. Nicely done, good luck with the judging
