Thats the thing though making the cut(probably just barely) puts you in a position of playing, without any possibility of winning at all, whereas the web tour you might actually have a chance of placing well. If that was the case I think I'd like to refuse the card and play on the web tour instead. Whats the reason on the PGA tour to go back down to the web tour ? OK just saw you have to finish in the bottom 40%, that should be real easy

40% is actually incorrect. It should be 20%. It was 40% when we had only one top tour...now that we have two top tours it is 20% each. Need to get that updated on the site.

So the web.com tour will be polluted with sandbaggers, sounds like fun. Maybe the sandbaggers will get tired of waiting for the season. Looks like no tournaments in January and only one in February. Guess the 9 hole executive tour will be busy.

Well it looks like I'll finish Q-School with a scaore of -8 under, which is 8 better than I thought it would be, as I was shooting for par. That puts me in around 180th place. Now from what I understand anyone 150th or better will make the cut, so it looks as I'll just be outside looking in, although you can never tell. Now I opted to go for the PGA tour, but If I don't make that, would I get opted out of the tour, or do I still have a shot at the European tour ?

I just played poorly in the final 2 rounds and ended up with a score that is below what i'm capable of. I'm sure there are hundreds of us who feel the same way though. And the way the tours work anyone who is clearly "too good" for the tour they are on will quickly find themselves moving up surely?

We're going to take the top 250+ ties and put them in the top two tours. The best scores will get first choice. So, if you finish 180th, you have a shot at your first choice (PGA) if at least 55 people ahead of you have chosen the Euro tour. If the PGA fills up before it gets to you, you would be placed on the Euro tour.

Bruce I am also -8. I peeked at the database and currently you and I are at 112 for those requesting PGA cards! There is still hope!! But I pretty sure there 13 other guys not finished that will come in lower and request PGA.

So, my -15 will probably be good enough then. I opted for Pga to begin with, but course-wise and competition-wise I probably will go for ET. And I guess there are more of us..?
