The longer the club the harder it is to hit straight for a beginner, so don't worry too much you will get better over time.

That could have to do with shaft flex and kick point as well. You can certainly get a used driver but once you do you may want to see about making sure the shaft fit is correct. can make a big difference.

I've been looking at some clubs today down the local golf club. I've read this thread and 2nd hand seems to be the way but the golf pro said they should be correctly sized. If I get something from eBay it might not be the right size. This is a dilemma.

That's exactly what kept me from buying clubs online so far. I've seen so many good offers, but always was afraid of getting clubs that don't fit (at all).

That's exactly what kept me from buying clubs online so far. I've seen so many good offers, but always was afraid of getting clubs that don't fit (at all). I went with the Callaway Strata set.. I love the thing so far. I've been out twice with it. Drives are a little straighter and I'm hitting the irons somewhat solid. I need to go to the range and get my distances down. |

Going out to the local course by myself tomorrow. Found an app that allows you to share your round live with people that have a link to the website. Think I'll post it here to test it.
