Carol, I've always made it work by manually over writing the link. When you copy and paste from you tube it says youtu.be/ and then all the gubbins You can change that manually to youtube.com/watch?v= and then all the same gubbins. It's always worked for me Obviously you need to keep the http and www bits at the start. That is what I thought I was doing, but that link to you tube was grayed out (more of a this is what it will look like ) than my actually link I needed. Ended up being a TGC tutorial video. Something must be up in my pc settings that did not supply me with the uploaded link. No worries, be a long time before I get another hole in one ! Thanks for the response The greyed out portion on the site's highlight submission is a 'For Example' type of link. You need to copy and paste your own link in that field to overwrite it. NOTE: In the below I put in a dummy X before all the https part. so it didn't turn my text into a video. That way you can read it. There should not be a X in your web address. I use youtube, and I upload my link, then it gives me this: Xhttps://youtu.be/DrrEfNyu7eU I then copy that into the web address bar of my web browser: Xhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrrEfNyu7eU&feature=youtu.be You need to get rid of the &featureblahblahblah part to get this: Xhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrrEfNyu7eU The bottom link is the style you should copy and paste into the highlight submission over they greyed out web link (which is the tutorial you spoke of).

That,s the problem I am getting no link other than that example link and I don't know why. I click upload highlights after filling out the hole and round click upload and the example link does not get replaced with a link to my video, what am I doing wrong here. I have a you tube account but how exactly am I to upload that shot from the game directly to get the steps you provided. I thought that was the purpose of this app so it is done directly via tgc tours. Confused to say the least.

You have to upload your video to a 3rd party video sharing site to get a video link As far as I know TGCTours.com does not create the link for you, they just offer a way to imbed a link from a 3rd party site like youtube. I use the Share button on my PS4 to clip 15 minute videos (or going back to my last clip). Then from the main PS4 dashboard, I use Capture Gallery to trim my videos down to one shot or one hole, etc. as I deem fit. There is a way to upload them from there to youtube, but I go the other route and I copy them to a USB drive. Then I put that USB drive into my PC. I upload it to youtube, get a link, then copy the link into the field you see as greyed out.

Recent highlight hasn't uploaded successfully, but I can't now amend it... My YT link came across as HTTP, as opposed to HTTPS and I have no way of now amending this, it seems... I can force the vid to play by modding the link in the console developer, but that won't change the fabric of the video implementation for good. As soon as I back out of my modified instance, I can no longer view the video.
I really think it would be useful to link a "highlight upload FAQ" in the actual instance of hole highlighting that folk are attempting to use.

Any chance we could be allowed to link twitch clips instead?
