Well after embarrassing myself this past week with my exemption on the Euro tour (not even close to making the cut LOL), I'm hoping to redeem myself this week on the Web tour and played a relatively strong (for me) four rounds on a very enjoyable course. A couple of bogies here and there but stayed out of any serious trouble. Setting the bar for everyone to shoot at:
-10, -8, -7, -9 = -34
Good luck everyone! Now it's a waiting game for me ;-)

Well I played the first two rounds before realizing I forgot to register for this event ! Blew chunks first round ended up -1 then a decent -5 second round ! Good practice at least to try and regain a little Bit of the tiny amount of decent golf I had before football and basketball season lol

Hello gentlemen!
I am glad I've traded my Canada Goose for a nice pair of shirts and shades!
RD.1, Played awful. Was bitten my hundreds of Zika infected mosquitoes and couldn't get anything going in those 17-20MPH winds. One ray of sunshine came at the par 3 7th where I holed my teeshot, for my first hole in one since I've started to play The Golf club. I think it was 200yds + too! Though that wasn't enough to save my abysmal putting, everything in the 15+ft range would fall short, I felt like my fellow compatriote Graham DeLaet (and his glorious beard) in the last round on PGA Tour; couldn't get anything in. Result: 71 (-3)
RD.2 Decided to go on with the second round because Hey, I couldn't be any worse. I started off strong with a birdie on each of the first three holes, then landed my second shot on the 4th right in the water in front of the green. Double bogied it, back to -1. I decided, then, to go Rambo with the putter, as being careful in the first round only ended up very bad for my score...And it paid off! I birdied 8 of the remaining 15 holes and went on to score 65 (-9)
TOTAL: -12 Unsure this will be enough to make the cut, it could very well be near -9/10, but I wouldn't count on that.
Have a nice week fellas!
Lino.

SO PUMPED RIGHT NOW!
Pedestrian (-5) in round 1, figuring I needed at least -6 in Round 2 to feel in a decent place regarding the cut.
I start Round 2 tonight after an O/N at work to unwind and I start with an Eagle from a flop shot out of the sand! Another chip in on 4 and I just know the round is going to go well. My approaches are difficult but manageable, the putts start dropping, I only bogey once on 17 (Who the hell put that pin there?) and then finally a snaking putt to pick up the bookend Eagle on 18!
Total for round 2? (-10)
Feeling really good about my Cut Chances at -15 and staying up here permanently with you fine Gentleman. I don't think I'll be able to sleep now though...

Put in my first round score and popped up 2nd a net 3rd because Colin RogueElement14 hasn't put in his -10. Not looking forward to tomorrow when my -1 73 goes up I've started an investigation to who putt the cling film over the holes. Hopefully to make the cut but I very much doubt it already booked my tickets for a flight to Demon Host a course I love but hates me defo need practice on it! Excellent set up scampi00 my scores pretty much prove you can go from riches to rags in a short time.

Some good scores coming in already, my hopes of the cutline being something like six under have been dashed. I guess I am going to have to really focus and not get distracted, oh look at that puppy, it looks like he is wearing pants, I shall adopt him and call him Mr Fluffy Pants. Now where was I, oh yea round one. I love starting with a par five, it's a great way of getting a early confidence boost as long as no silly mistakes are made. I avoided those silly mistakes, played the hole well for a birdie start. The wind refused to work on the second hole, my approach shot just did not turn, I got the distance right but was eleven feet away instead of being closer to the cup. Luckily my putt was a straight as could be and birdie was safely made. The wind did work on the third so I ended up both short and wide, a good chip left me a foot or so away for a tap in par. My approach on four looked so good for so long before it slid past the hole by six feet. I was still left with a very make able putt. I convinced myself that if I missed the putt, it was going to travel for miles so under hit it and left it inches short. A missed chance and a birdie left behind. The headwind on the fifth meant I could avoid doing something stupid like going for the green in two, I shall pretend I played smart and just laid up instead of not being able to reach. I still nearly made a mess of it with a poor flop, leaving myself with a longer putt than I was comfortable with but that dropped for birdie and three under. Finding the rough from the tee on six meant no chance of stopping the ball with my second shot, and off the green it went. A short chip that I should have made, just went past the cup. It was a half chance but happy with par. I had no idea what shot to play on seven, so I played a hit and hope shot, just hit the ball and hope the second shot can be figured out to avoid bogey. I went off the back of the green but a good distance to flop close for a tap in par. Laying up is the smart move on eight, sadly the wind did not make that choice for me this time and I ended up plugged in the bunker. My bunker shot left me about eight feet from the hole so still a birdie chance and then for some reason, I used Thor's hammer on the putt, it flew past the hole, it was not even that difficult a putt and I put it fifteen past the hole through share lack of attention. I got my just reward with a dropped shot. I needed to recover from that by not doing anything stupid on nine and safe par was made. One shot ruined what was a good front nine, such is golf.
At least the back nine started with a par five, a good chance to get that dropped shot back. Well, it would have been a good chance if my second shot had not found a bunker and my bunker shot had not rolled all the way back to the edge of the green and had my birdie putt been hit with enough power to get all the way up the slope. The good news, I did not drop a shot. I had lost focus and was questioning my shots now. I had a good birdie chance on eleven, a straight putt eleven foot putt, so why did I not hit it straight? I needed a good shot to bring back some confidence before I ran out of holes. That good shot did not come on twelve when I made a bad club selection and read the wind incorrectly. It did not come on thirteen when I put my approach thirty feet behind the cup. It was not until the fifteenth before I finally got the dropped shot back. I wish I could say it was from spectacular golf but it was from slow, steady careful golf. I then promptly undid all that by hitting the bunker from the tee on sixteen. I had no choice but to pitch the ball out which left a long third shot. I missed the green with that and bogey number two followed. I got the shot back again on eighteen but it was to little to late.
I am a confidence player and it's amazing how one shot can change a round for the good or bad. Today it was for the bad but maybe tomorrow it will be for the good, who knows. Today was fun though, trying to get those dropped shots back before time ran out, trying not to drop more during the effort. I don't have to shoot well to have fun and today was one of those days. It's a great course that requires great shots to shoot well. Well played to those that have, I am looking forward to round two, the challenge of making the cut might just be to much but will be fun trying, good luck all.

Rd 1 - I was off to a hot start with a -4 through 6, but I knew a tough stretch of holes was coming up. Managed my way through the middle of the round, with a couple of birdies and a bogey on 13 to put me at -5 through 13, I only managed one more birdie and all pars in the remaining holes to finish -6. Not the confidence boost I wanted for my second round but I figured I would manage a better score in some more manageable winds.
Rd 2- BOY was I wrong. My putter, which has been hot for the last 2 weeks or so, seemed to take a turn for the Arctic cold as I could not sink a put through the first 5 or 6 holes, remaining even through the least difficult part of the course, I was FUMING. I then proceeded to blow up, an easy miss par put turned into a 12 footer coming back for bogey, which of course I missed. After I doubled, I felt my chances of making the cut were gone. Once I started not caring I turned around the round and managed a -2 under 72 nearly holing my eagle put on the drivable par 4. I don't think -8 will make the cut but i am hoping the firm greens will allow for a low cutline.
Overall the course was a great challenge and I enjoyed the firm greens as it is something I need to work on managing if I were to ever move up and make any cuts. I put in 3 1/2 practice rounds the last week or so to prepare for these greens, which didn't seem to work so much once I let my emotions get involved in the 2nd round. That 2nd round is going to weigh heavy on me for a while as in the practice round I played on Friday Pins I shot somewhere near -9. Oh well, onto the TST secondary event and putting in work on next weeks course. I am going to test putting in 4-5 practice rounds compared to my usual 2-3 rounds to see what difference it could make in my mental game and course management.
Cheers and Go LOW!

Hyphy hopefully -8 makes it would be good for web to have a single digit cut for once. Also that would mean I would make it haha.

Well well, our friend Brad Putt is leading once again! Surpriiiise! Thanks to scampi00 and Wh0amiagan. Officially, it was 211.7 yards out, according to my round results on the website. It came as a very big surprise, a favorable bounce of the fairway and rolled right in!
