I really think many people need to chill a little bit.
I am actually one that really am harsh against multi-account users. I had two finishes (t2 and solo 2nd) on Web in season one behind a 'convicted' multi-account user. I was retroactively given the wins, but the salt couldn't be taken out of those wounds, per se.
It can be handled by the staff as it has been done so in the past.
Sure one can be skeptical, but I am not going to call anyone out without proof. Even if I 'thought' something fishy was going on, I would use the resources available (notifying the staff in a diplomatic way that doesn't call anyone out.. just asking how it is handled and just mentioning I was a concerned member, nothing more critical meant).
Please just enjoy the TGCT experience people (No, I am not meaning to take a blind eye). There is such a good thing we have here. Almost any game has its lame cheaters and cheesers (no correlations meant to this specific topic meant, just a generalization). I feel we have the tools/staff in place and a good community to enjoy this experience than to be so bogged down by these things that are, in theory, just speculation on some peoples' part.

boomboom to be honest I think in a roundabout way we are agreeing. and the one statement I said that you really had a gripe with was the same one I had a gripe with when I reread it I realised my error which was more of an Irish Educational Board induced error rather than me taking the shot first and ask questions later approach. As for Irving to me it comes down to intent was it done for humour and entertainment or was it malicious? I personally like controversial figures. To name a few see below. Gordon Ramsey Jose Mouriniho Jeremy Clarkson Donald Trump Mario Balotelli Charlie Sheen I draw the line at Kanye he's just delusional Anyway back to topic personally I wouldn't just strike off Irving for his comments and actions. I'm a very lenient man and we all over step the mark in life a simple honest apology is all that's needed if he went to far IMO. Also I will point out the unjust playing of the "Sexiest Card" also warrants an apology IMO.

i like how its become a reverse lynch mob, nicely done lads. TGC is serious business. Dnt think askin for the rules and etiquette of TGCTours to be enforced is quite a lynch mob....If anything I think its great that the community are sayin what happened was out of order. If ur gonna call out someone as a cheater u better hav solid evidence. And even then reporting them rather than makin a drama that has spanned over 2 different forum boards and a podcast out of it wud be the best route to take. |

I have recently joined this website. Less than a week ago in-fact and have been browsing the forums, i wasn't aware that I also needed to create an account for the forums separately. I am not hiding behind an account either as my username is my xboxlive tag so feel free to look for me on the leaderboards. I've been following the progress of Lisa as it has been mentioned on a football forum I am a member of, which has already been mentioned on here. Thanks for the warm welcome. Not the best start to joining tgc and this thread was never gonna be that. This thread aside, you have joined a friendly and fun community. That I can vouch for. It can get heated but it is also fun - so, welcome and I hope you enjoy it here. Thank you very much. Enjoying the website and the extra dimension it brings to the game. |

I respect that, simply he should also respect that also. I'd be good with an apology and deleting or amending the usually excellent podcast. The podcast is excellent usually, I have enjoyed all the episodes greatly, with this 1 exception, and appreciate them for being done and the work involved in them. However no way it should be anybody's soapbox forum for malicious slander.
