Theme: Boreal Par: 73 Yards: 7,431 Green Speed: Fast Green Firmness: Medium Fairway Firmness: Medium Intended Skill Level: CC Intended Level of Attractiveness: Super Beautiful Should be an easy and relaxing course with wide fairways and spacious greens. In order to score low you'll need to pay attention off the tee, bend around some sharp doglegs, and get close on your approach shots. I'm sure ya'll will love scooting around on it. nice to see somebody taking the time on retaining walls and making them smooth. good job. I'm too lazy to look it up, but you were the first one to tell me to use the shorter sections of wall when I attempted retaining walls on one of my earlier courses, Hearthstone. I may be misremembering but I swear it was you. Takes forever, but you just can't deny that it looks so much better.

Yup, makes it look smooth and natural, easy in the eyes.
Jagged walls imho make a course look worse than it would with no walls.
It may have been me, I don't remember with tbh, but what's more important than who suggested it, is seeing the results in all its glory.
I'll give this a go when I get off work, I can do a write up if you wish, or I can just say if I enjoyed it or not, your call.
Last time I gave honest feedback, I was told to go f myself, so I done that since.

Ha, it's okay. I don't mind being told what's wrong with my courses. I'm usually the first to point it out actually. I'll appreciate following the ghost around. I can still tell you to go f*** yourself when all is said and done if you want though? Just in case it completes the whole process for you.
Also, I checked. It was Dogzbollox, not you. Great advice either way though.

As I think I mentioned on the TGCTLive stream the other week....unless I am just doing a long straight run (hardly ever happens) I always use the smallest section for retaining walls and take care to ensure they are lining up properly. Yeah it can take forever and most people wont notice much difference, but it makes a world of difference to me and at least I know they are nice and neat once they are finished

The little bits of earth that stick out at the bottom drive me crazy.

definitely was you Jeremy! At least in my case.I took your advice on my last course and one Im working on to use small sections! and your tutorial on lighting is outstanding as well.....
On to the course!
Just finished my first round here! From the first tee I knew I was going to like this course! Its a beautiful course to look at and had that "real" feeling while playing it!
Favorite holes were the 15th through the 18th! I couldn't buy a putt to save my life this round! Was -3 through 5 then proceeded to Par like the next 9 holes. I got it to -5 going into the 18th and on my approach I hit the retaining wall, and bounced off into the rough, ended up with my only bogie here!
I bet I missed at least 7-9 birdy putts just sliding by the hole! I never did dial it in!
Great courses, very smooth, nicely constructed! I believe on hole 11, once I hit my drive, there is a fairway bunker to the left of the landing area! don't know why this particular bunker stood out to me, but for some reason this one single solitary bunker made me think to myself! That is one of nicest constructed bunkers Ive seen!.....I guess Im weird.. ha ha
With all this rambling said, I thought it was a very nice golf course! Great job..,.

here is my write up:
liked the course, gave it a nine. there is room for improvement, but nothing really worthy of nitpicking. course was well done, with nice hole routing, no tricks (to my knowledge) and was a challenge to play on first play through.
Baileys' joined me in the video.

Really liked the course Seth. Maybe a couple of pins are a bit too tough (I don't know if they are so for my skill, which might be as well), but all in all, it's a really nice course

Last time I gave honest feedback, I was told to go f myself The feedback on Eggar Hill was very helpful to me. I've already altered my newest design based on some of the points you made. So keep on keepin' on. And scampi, Heron's landing looks quite nice. Can't wait to play it (but not before Grey Raven).

Thanks to everyone that has played and will play. It's always fun to chase some ghosts around the track and see how people decided to tackle it.

Well if you play my ghost take a look at how things panned out on hole 10 and 15! I shot -7 in fairly strong winds. I wonder if I'm the first to clear the water for the green on 15?
I enjoyed my round even if my short putting was shocking. Very realistic and easy on the eye and the back 9 had some good hole layouts that made me pause for thought. Excellent course.
