So, I'm guessing as a Webber trying to make the big leagues I picked the worst time ever to lose my Internet connection. You win some, you lose some I guess

Is the CC auto promotion for winning retroactive?

Am I reading the formula wrong - or does this mean that finishing lower than 101st place willl result in negative points and the higher tour you are on the more points you lose? Example: Finishing 110th PGA/Euro: -0.69 points Web: -0.07 points Meaning that there is a penatly for being on a higher tour and finishing 110th on web is worth more than finishing 110th on PGA? Also winning on the web is equavilent to a 39th finish on the Euro/PGA? In the real WGRs winning a minimum ranked web tourney is equavilent to placing 12th or 13th in the strongest ranked PGA/Euro tournamnents or 15th in a Major... How is decay handled? No, I have code in place that doesn't allow your points to be below 0.

Whatever the changes, the results make sense. My knee jerk was shock and horror to drop so many spots, but in looking at the people above me, they all deserve that spot, for now. Great job as always folks. Thank you for your service.

Question in regards to the formula:
Formula ((101/sqrt(finish)) - sqrt(finish)) * tour factor ** sqrt = square root
For the 'finish' portion, how are ties factored in? Are the ties ignored and all that tie get the same finish that shows on the leaderboard or are all the spots that are tied averaged out?
Example:
There is a three way tie for 5th. All the players 'finish' = 5 for the equation
OR
Would it be an average of 5th, 6th, and 7th place ((5+6+7)/3) = 'finish' of 6 for the equation?

It is this:
Would it be an average of 5th, 6th, and 7th place ((5+6+7)/3) = 'finish' of 6 for the equation?
This was one of the things that we improved on.. the last formula did not take ties into consideration.
Believe me, we spent countless hours getting this right :-)

I'm not sure if 0 points for missing cuts is a good idea. It doesn't encourage people enough to take exemption to the top tours. If you're scoring more points on web.com than players making the cut on PGA/EURO, you need to go play with those people in my opinion. If my maths and this clunky windows calculator is correct, scoring 6th on web scores more points than 70th on EURO/PGA Tour. Top 6, go play!

Doesn't really effect me at the moment anyway but Fusions clarification of top 100 and what you have worked out(If correct ) means that people would want to strive for exemption and promotion to gain WGR.

Please note - W15 will be run on the old format - Auto-Promotion starts W16
- Dynamic cutlines start W16 (but are visible for W15 - just ignore)
- W15 CC Demotions didn't work - ignore the emails, enjoy the free week
- I suspect the WGR is off by a week (ie it just updated with W14 data after finalizing W15 - see the Lowenberger effect) - can't confirm until Monday when I can chat with Tim
The exemptions must not have worked either..I finished T10 and got no email of an exemption..so I just entered my week 16 scores in CC-D

No need. Im going to show the breakdown on a separate page and allow it to be exported to excel.

In the above, would 6 be plugged into the formula OR Would the point values of 5th (plugging in 5), 6th (plugging in 6), and 7th (plugging in 7) be added together and divided by three? There is a small difference in points between the two.
