Nice to see people hate my course.I don't know then why they picked it to host a tournament.Oh well can't please everyone I suppose. I like you course. In fact I feel if a person dislikes a course they should keep their mouth shut as it takes a lot of hard earned hours to put a course together, good or bad. So with that being said it is unfair to the designer and they would be better served with some tips on how to improve in certain areas rather than dissing a designer in open forum. Anyhow off I go to practice and hope you don't take the haters too seriously.

Anyhow off I go to practice and hope you don't take the haters too seriously. I agree too. I've played about with the course designer and it takes a lot of work to sculpt a hole the way you vision it and to get it played on a tournament at this website is a great achievement. I'm pretty sure I could never have the patience nor skill to create a course on here without help that would make the grade. I like the course, my only constructive criticism would be the pin on the 11th green. Now I don't think it's as much the position but the slope of the green seemed a little unfair. I've played it a few times and once went 20ft long to make a 3 putt because of the slope and another 2 times pin high right, which again I massively messed my putting up. So I've learnt leaving the putt short is the key. But maybe that's just my fault and good job I've practiced to see. If you've played all the holes in designer and made the decision for the green and flag then I have no complaints. Otherwise as I said my only constructive criticism would be to play each hole in designer to make sure it plays the way you want.

Gave this one more practice round before I tackle this next week.
Shot -6, -10, -9, -8 for 33 under. That's my best so far.
My goal is still to shoot 20 under, finish around 50th out of 100 projected and keep from getting a demotion strike once back in E Class next week after losing my exemption this week.
We'll see how it goes.

I tried it, started with 7 birds in a row then a few wayward putts and approaches and scored -7 with 3 bogies (15 pin was nasty, next to it 6ft away for bird, walked off with a 5), i lipped out 2 eagles and at least 5 more birds. I so need to get my best 4 round score or i will be joining those in cc-b very soon.

Nice to see people hate my course.I don't know then why they picked it to host a tournament.Oh well can't please everyone I suppose. They can blame the Rangering squad if they don't like your course. I ok'd your course right away, here's what I wrote in December in the Ranger forum: "On pc medium settings I could only muster low 30's fps standing at the tee box. A wee bit laggy. Lowering to low settings allowed me to play with averages of 50-60 fps which is what I need to feel like the smoothness is not negatively affecting my game. Beautiful course. Whoever the designer was put a lot of love into it. Loved the triangular rock / flower structure at about the midway point and also visible at the last hole. Looks like a cross of some type or emblem. Was tempted to hit a ball into it for kicks." And if you designed the Aztek course as well, then I have extra respect for the the amount of attention you give to the overall feel of the course. Can I ask how long each of these courses took to build?

I liked your course dude. Didn't care for a few pin placements, but that's just personal preference.

After having an amazing practice week with this course my best being -26 ( I am in CC E so that is not bad for me), off to play the tour I went, and so did my mouse. First hole in water 84 percent swing, same on 2nd in the water again not 100 percent swing power. Faced with a +5 after 2 holes. To say the least I was so discouraged. I struggled through realizing it was not the mouse but me, guess I had a case of the nerves and so self conscious of it I could not drag myself out of the hole I dug for myself. Finished 4 rounds with a -20 .. Well I guess there is next week. Back to the drawing board. I liked your course as I said before. Just wished I had placed better. No one to blame but me.

Liking or not liking a course is a personal reaction, completely subjective. I did not like too much the course. BUT (and this is the most important thing) it is very well built. Even having found a couple of spots that i don't agree in terms of solution, that does not detract from a great golf course. And a different golf course, that's its main asset.

I shot -9, -9, -3, -11. Third round just couldn't hit greens/sink putts. Think that was a windy round. I think my -3 has cost me any chance of exemption but just got to keep pushing and getting better.

No one to blame but me. its ok i did the same as you, i started bad and struggled with the green pace and miss read the speed too many times and went E,-6,-5,-9=-20. im used too fast greens and ended up leaving putts too short or over compensating the strength and hitting long. This cost me at least 20 to 25 shots for the tourny. I didnt bogey many holes in the 4 rounds which is good but got way too many pars for my liking. If you cant handle different green speeds, you will suffer so im trying to do just that. i also sliced 2 shots in round 1 and 2 in round 3,(i have a tendancy to hit a bit left and on holes where a small red cone happens, i have to be very accurate ) also add in that i drove a par 5 in 2 and walked off with a 6 since i landed in the worst spot, it wasnt my week lol. I finished it good but still left 4 or 5 out there. With all of nuter41's courses, they are unique and look great, with this course, theres some interesting pin positions which make you have to play for spots on the green rather than the pin ie hole 11. I didnt have any probs with that hole, if you land under the pin you have an uphill putt but you have to take the green speed into account or will come short. Also a par 5 in the back 9 has the pin sitting on a steep slope left to right, land pin high on the right off it and all is good. My only real gripe is that 18 looks great but driving it in 2 is very very rare and needs you to drive the left fairway with a strong wind behind you. I love the stone formations with the cross of st george on it, great work.

I am in Class E and improving constantly especially with my putting and short flop shots. It just all needs to come together one day. I am looking forward to next week's course. I think it plays well and crossing my fingers I will at least post a good score. Round 1 and 2 killed me, once i figured out what I was doing improved Rnd 3 with -6 and round 4 with -12. Nice scores for you! Congrats! oops just realized that question was not for me.. me bad lol!!!
