And the online play with you guys, I think is very related to that improvement (btw I can tell you I've improved my previous lowest score for a tournament by 3 shots, so yes, I'm improving) thats awesome! hopefully catch you tonight or very soon atleast :-) I had a date with a couple of twin sisters, but I think I'll pass that along and join you tonight online

Pablo, I'm really not sure. Truth is, I'm not that good at this game. I've improved but I miss too many putts under 10 ft and miss too many fairways forcing me to scramble so often. If I'm shooting 19 under after 2 rounds there's a good chance that there's going to be 20 to 25 people minimum doing that well or better. To get sponsor's exemption I'd have to make the top 10 and I just don't see that happening when my best finish was like 27th or so. But, we'll see. Just not getting my hopes up. Besides, why would I even want to be in D Class? I'd only end up back in E after 3 weeks. I'm comfortable where I am and content to stay here. Wag, that's exactly the same thing that happened to me. I got my first exemption, tried D for one week and I lost even my shoes. No worries, like a month later, here I am. If you're improving, sooner or later you'll get it. And actually, in challenge circuit the flight is not very significant. You have to play the same course in the same conditions. Play it well, or as well as you can. In the moment of playing your rounds, nothing changes That's pretty much the way I look at it. No pressure. I just go out and play the best golf that I can.

Good evening my friends...happy to see the good results that this little group is having... just played the first 3 rounds not so bad but could have been 2/3 strokes better (I really made a huge mistake on a par 5 going for the eagle and getting a bogey...could have been a gimmie for the birdie ) anyway 63-66-63 for a 24 under and the last one to go. Take care Roberto

I decided to just finish this up tonight.
Here are my 4 rounds.
Round 1 – 62 Round 2 – 63 Round 3 – 65 Round 4 – 70
The winds and pin positions on day 4 were brutal. I was lucky to break par. Ended up 28 under for the tourney. I'll have a decent handle on where I might land with that by end of day Monday. Of course I expect scores to be higher on day 4 so I may have to take that into consideration.
Still, this is my best week by one stroke and I'm hoping it'll be good enough to get rid of my one strike but I'm not holding my breath.
Like I said, I'll know better by end of business Monday.

Mentally, I can never complain with a -5 round with no bogeys.
However, I missed at least another 5 birdie putts that were, if not within 10 feet, all easily makeable. In most cases I under-compensate for the break and/or hit it too softly and the break affects the roll more as a result. Does anyone else suffer from this malady?
It sounds like a simple fix, but then again, I got my -5 by playing it so safe with my putts. To improve, though, I need to try for more one putts, even if it is at the cost of ending up with a few 3 putts. Hopefully they'd at least even out with my birdies and I could stay at or near my good by not great scores.
Can't move up by standing still, I guess.

Yes elguapo, those sidebreakers (that are the putts in which I suffer most that) are really hard to judge
Wag, in CC-E -28 is a great score, you can be sure

On an exemption from E, Same score as Wagtunes but more consistent rounds, 65,66,66,63. I had a few bounce outs on this course which kept me from reaching -34 or so.

Finshed it up this morning.
R1. 64 R2. 63 R3. 63 R4. 66
TOTAL: -32
Had very poor putting in round 4, which prevented me from going -8/-9 under. Overall, I think I am happy with the way I played. I holed up my second shot at 12th in R3, that was a big highlight. I'm definitely feeling the Phantom Pain from all those missed 10 or less feet puts in round 4...
See you all next week!

Well. Not a good start or end.
70-63-62-69.
The only saving grace on the final round was an eagle on a par 4 seen below.

I think I am not staying here cause I played a not so good tournament. I was, just visiting with #1 - 69 #2 - 63 #3 - 66 #4 - 71 I am happy that I played every round under par, but as I am on extempion, this won't be good enough for a permanent card for CC-D I guess. Good luck out there lads.

I'm fairly new here, so here's a newbie question:
I'm scheduled to play The Olde Douglas Harbor tournament, but I can't find the name of the tourney. On what web page can I find names of tournaments (this one and future ones)? Looking for the web link....
Thanks!

Search for all tournaments. Check out for tgctours.com/ in the active tournament section for the search string. Good luck out there

Thanks for the answer. Is there a "special" web page where all tournaments are identified by their tournament's name?
