I finished the winter course. Love the view but damn I cannot see grid lines to save my life. I missed like 6 four foot putts. Even getting down green level is very difficult. I hope they implement the ability to change the colours of the grid lines. It would help with the harvest theme too. Struggled myself on this, including a 5-PUTT snowman.
Thanks, Jason for the tourney, enjoyed watching the big boys & seeing how close a humble cc'er could get at times (wow "the machine" is consistent).
Anyway. for me the good & the bad was - -4,-4,+3,-8,-7,-13 !!!!!!, -5 for a total -38, only 56 shots behind The Machine :-)
Have a good (insert appropriate holiday greetings here although in Australia we generally say whatever works for us & accept what works for others !), it's early Christmas day here.

After getting within 2 strokes of "The Machine™ " on course no.4 I decided to try turn enabled, mano a mano,to witness the master at work.
What a great way to play the game. Never tried it before (didn't look at his score beforehand)
On course 5, I clawed back from 4 behind early with 10 straight birds to have a 9 footer for the tie on the 18th (which I missed)
On course 6 , I was near my best but still trailled in 4 strokes behind.
After 6 rounds I'm a distant 30 strokes behind!!!!
Great tournament Irving. Happy Chrimbo everyone.

I'd agree,the course looked fantastic but struggled to read some putts with minimal break. I also putt with the high camera and in certain light conditions could not make out the putter head against the frosty surface. Oddly I scored very well and was only 2 strokes behind (you know who....) Finished up -64, 30 strokes behind!!! |
