I've been running a fun little tour showcasing a load of really good courses, some popular, some unnoticed, all very good. Designers pick their best 3 holes so whatever you think of an individual course there is rarely a boring hole on tour. We have 3 tours currently live with a 4th likely to appear in place of #1 next week. Very fun and you'll probably find some new courses to play. Original thread: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/5942/

Ok the name of the Christmas Cracker has changed to the Christmas Cup as the word cracker breaches the profanity filter !!

Is it slang in the U.S. Or something? Yes. It has an American slang meaning that has several different usages, most notably to describe poor rural Southern whites (mid-late 1700s), and then to describe white slave owners (early-mid 1800s). HB is taking the prudent, "better safe than sorry," by filtering the word.

Love the idea and the format. Went ahead and played two of the rounds, zero practice, following Bradley. University Links was every bit as hard as I remembered it. I'm not sure what is up with my putting recently but in the course of two rounds, I have quite literally left 8 balls hanging on the lip, in front of the hole 2inches or under, which cost me a lot of strokes. Should have been -6 under in the first round but ended up -1. Second round should have been -11 under, ended up -7. Damn Bradley eagles on 16 lol. If I remember correctly, i never really liked ANY of these courses, except Magnolia and I warmed up to University Links later. Still fun. *EDIT* Finished last two rounds. I had fun but I have to remember that playing at mom-in-laws on a laptop is not conducive to excellent golf. Many errant tee-shots into the woods. -23 have fun all. Merry Christmas.

I made a 6 real course tour with TST settings last night but it never showed up. When I get home tonight I will see if it is there and post up the name.
