Played one round on this course and did not do well. Wanted to get it out of the way but it went better than expected until this happened in round 4. If this had not of happened i would of tied ian -49 and possibly had a chance of winning as i birdied the last and he did'nt. Missed the 16 putt for par aswell but cut the vid short.

Problem was i pulled my analog back and forward to make the putt and it did not move, at this point my controller is now not being touched so i had to make the choice of pushing it forward and hoping it works or pulling it back again then forward. Obviously back and forward was the wrong one. Bit dssapointed as i have never had that happen before. I have hit putts to hard over the hole before but not had it where the putter stays in the backswing.

Totally understand the frustration as the line between winning and 2nd is so thin.

Yea bad time for it to happen. Made it harder than i should anyway missed so many putts in the last 2 round that were going in over the first 2 rounds also parred 3 par 5's and also that bogey in the vid in the last 27 holes. Seem to have problems now and again with the 3 wood laying up. Not hit a shank all the way through the comp apart from that club 3 times in those last 27 holes. Demon club that is at the min and i dont know why.

Hey all! I loved this course from the first time I played it, so I decided to use my first crossover this week as I love RCR's and this one was superb, IMO!
So I played this one on PC way back when it was new and instantly like it then. Then when this was announced late that it was the course for week 10, I chose in the last few minutes to crossover, PGA FedEx points be damned. Gotta enjoy a course and appreciate someone's great work sometime, right?
My practice rounds were so-so. I streamed one not too long ago tonight, and shot -6.
So in my actual round I think the winds were helpful for the most part. I was making putts and just missing the longer ones. Had a couple of lucky bounces, but on a setup like this, we all will have some lucky bounces along with unlucky ones, right? Was -13 through 17 and had a chance to shoot 56, which would have been my best (fewest) total strokes in one round in an official TGCT round, but I shanked my drive to the right into the rough. Approach landed in the bunker. Got up and down to save par.
Still proud of the -13 (57) as it was way beyond what I thought I could do on this course in one round. Had to stop after my drive on hole #2 of the 2nd round (after a par on #1) because I was just jittery at that point.
Good luck to all and very, very impressive scores from those who have posted so far!

61/67/59/64 and just for kicks afterwards 65 TST style.
Hope to make the cut but an abysmal last 7 holes on round 2 with two, maybe even three 5 foot putts missed as concentration suffered when my girlfriend was in my ear yapping away.
Enjoyed the course, it was playing easier than it could have due to lower winds than expected coming off the Irish Sea in Beijing haha.

Enjoyed the course, relatively easy due to lower winds than expected coming off the Irish Sea in Beijing haha. Speak for yourself Oswinner! Even in the relatively low winds I found the combination of the firmness and severely sloped greens very difficult and could only manage two 65's (-5) for a halfway total of -10, which I don't think will make the cut.

Sorry I worded that incorrectly. Meant to say it could have played much harder if Beijing's Irish Sea was bringing a fresh breeze in. The links style run ups are definitely a different style that not many will be used to so its relatively harder than some other courses on tour.

After two rounds I'm not 100% happy with myself but I think I can live with that this time 63 (-7), 62 (-8) with a couple of birdies left here and there (especially in R1) and a stupid bogey due to a mishit flop shot thanks to the "new" laggy swing. Good luck all players left to start the tourney and vwp to Tom, Ian and Andi that are as always rocking the PS4 leaderboard

Glad you Enjoyed the Course, played the 4 rounds shame the winds didnt get up to 14-16mph for a few rounds but really designed the course for the average player.Top players destroy it in those winds and a shame i didnt know it was being used got a 4 pin set up on ps4 would have made the event even better.tks for playing guys and gals.
