I think it's fantastic that we have these charity events. I hope I'm not out of line here, but I will not be donating any money for Autism Speaks. I will however donate 10SEK (a little over 1$) for every stroke below par I get to "The Autism and Asperger Association" here in Sweden and do what I can to help raise awareness. I feel that my money will be better off supporting this cause locally where I live instead of the US. Please feel free to delete this post if you feel that it is out of place for this event.

Nice one Ola - since it didn't work to donate to that Autism Speaks I did the same for the 33$ I pledged (3$ per shot Irving finished under par). No issues with a Japanese credit card there.

Give to whatever autism awareness charity you want. Eli won't care if it's not in the US. The cure can come from anywhere. The sooner the damn better.

Did a similiar thing to last week but upped the ante a little bit as the course was a little bit tougher - £1 per Birdie & £2 per eagle. Didn't play quite as well as last week but still raised $60 odd dollars. Enjoyed the course btw

I'll be streaming this week. I put a base donation of $20, but I'll play on both the PS4 and XB1, and my total under par, I'll add $1 for each stroke below par. Doing it for my 5 year old nephew who has Autism. My Dad donated $20, and someone else who watched my stream donated $20. Happy to have helped get $60 so far! AND...I had a Hole in One on the 14th! I've got proof: (See around the 38 minute mark) - Challenging someone to donate $10 for that awesome shot in support of my nephew Bryce! I'll continue my rounds tomorrow. Most likely play Rounds 2 and 3.

Eli said for me to say "HI BRYCE!" and that Bryce can be the host of the 13th hole. I don't know why he picked 13, but Eli was quite adamant about it.

Just wanted to say that I really had no idea going into this how much money we can raise, and I don't know what our ceiling is, but to see the donation total at almost $300 on just Monday is pretty outstanding, regardless of what the goal says. I'll share this here, as I found this to be the most informative thing that Autism Speaks provided me with to help learn more: blog.tgctours.com/if-you-only-read-one-thing-about-autism-speaks-this-week/

Pretty cool deal going on right here. Was glad to be a very small part in this. I'm getting ready to play so are we posting scores anywhere?

I just tried to donate. Apparently there's a problem with my address. I live in Australia. Donations only appear to be accepted from USA, Canada or UK? ? Can anyone help? Hi Bogeyman. If you want to donate in Australia (and get a tax deduction) can I suggest: www.autismqld.com.au/page/50/Make-a-donation (or your state equivalent). I have 4 kids all diagnosed with various degrees of autism (thankfully none of them at the non verbal / extreme end). I applaud TGCT for focussing on autism awareness. Like others I am donating based on the $1 per birdie and $3 per eagle. I've had 4 good rounds (for me) this week and will be donating about AUD40 to the above Australian charity (once I check my scorecard at the end of the week as I've forgotten how many of each I had).

Thanks for that. I will be donating $25 to that worthy cause in honour of all affected kids.

I can't even begin to imagine... My co-worker has a child with autism and 1 other kid and it seems like 99% of what he shares about his family around the lunchtable has to do with stories of his child with autism and how it impacts his life. When I listen to him, it makes me feel like having my 3 kids is more stressful than his one (and that's saying something as I'm constantly stressed out and need TGC to decompress daily). I'll be making a dollar amount donation equivalent to my round score. I've got to check Steam again, -39 or so.

But like you between work & family stresses, I've found TGC to be a great way to unwind (whether playing or designing). Plus the whole community at HB & here at TGCT has been very welcoming.
