Was pretty late to this party, playing my rounds late last night. Opted for no practice rounds or even a practice hole and went straight out there. Never seen the course before but thought it was stunning. One of my favourites I've played on tour. Having only played the first two rounds I loved the change of lighting as well, it made a nice contrast. Excellent greens and layout generally with a fair but punishing challenge (3 putt on 18 first round... grr) if you find the wrong side of pins. Very nicely done.
Managed two -9s to make the cut which was nice given lack of practice... now slightly gutted I didn't find the time to practice as I think I could have managed a decent score

It looks like I have made my first cut since joining the tour with -18 after 2 rounds. After missing the cut in my first three weeks, it feels really good to be playing on the weekend. Hopefully I can sneak up the leader board a few spots before this one finishes up. Great job on the course, and good luck to everyone on the weekend. About time you did something you bum . Maybe you should spend a little more time on the course and a little less on the dozer. JK bud, nice playing, enjoy the weekend rounds.

Started with a 60 (-12) yesterday. I'm fine with that, it was a solid round without any (big) mistakes. Before I'm going to continue in a few hours, I'm curious what the firmness on the greens is on the other rounds. I saw that Rd2 is rainy, so I guess the greens are softer than Rd1? Do the settings for that course change in Rd3/Rd4? I figured the conditions myself somehow while I was on the course and adjusted fine. Pretty solid continuation in Rd2 & Rd3: A 59 (-13) followed by a 58 (-14). Sitting at -39 after Rd3. I really hope I can focus on my game(plan) in my 4th round as soon as I'll start it... Okay... I'm done for this week. Finished Rd4 with another 60 (-12), so I'm sitting in the clubhouse with a total score of -51. I had a very sluggish start into my final round and was only at -3 after 9 holes, including a stupid Bogey on Hole #6 and quiet a few putts that just didn't drop. As last week, I was quiet fed up in the halfway house, but thought there's not much more to lose at that point. Well... things turned-out the right way from that point, and I started an okay birdie streak. Then I came to Hole #16, and this happened: Those are the shots that make me play this damn game day after day, week after week! Good shot strategy, nice execution & that little bit of extra luck to make that ball go right into the hole! And if this wasn't enough, I made back-to-back Eagle on #17. Again, it is not good enough to be on the Top of the leaderboard at the end of the tournament. But this was really an excellent tournament for me. Super solid performance over 4 rounds, there's really not much more I could ask for. Those still ahead of me just play perfect, one has to accept that.

A few people still to finish but think i'm pretty safe to say Congrats Bradley Garcia.
Had a feeling all along that my 61 in Round 1 might cost me the victory and so it proved.
Surprised to see 7 guys break the -50 barrier - I thought this course was tougher than that

I showed on the weekend rounds that my time better spent in a dozer, that was brutal.

Was just trying to watch one of Ian's ghost balls and it was just showing me crap shots and then when i actually played mine he was stiff or very close.

Thanks for the kind comments fellas My goal this week was to finish ahead of Ian for a change, He's been on such good form for so long, I wasn't sure if he was actually beatable? Your first round was your undoing this week Ian, I know that feeling. Let's be honest, if you can finish ahead of Ian, most weeks you will have a shot at winning Well played Jack and Tom, unlucky guys. You are both well overdue for a win. It's just a bounce here or there that's stopping you from winning lately. If you look at my stats, you will notice that I had at least one chip in every round. That there is the difference between winning and finishing in the top 5 on this very competitive tour. If they don't go in for me I probably won't win as the momentum would be halted. Last week they would all just miss, this week they decided to go in? I guess that's golf? Well played to Nicolaj Ekholm and David Nichol with solid top 5 finishes, both showing some consistent form and improving. Great finish from Thomas with the back to back eagle charge at the end
