Welcome to Week 20 of the Speed Golf. This week we will be playing Dam Treitaget, by Coggin66. The first Swiss themed course on the speed golf tour, this course features a remarkable zero bunkers. It has some rather interesting holes, which will require some extra thought not accustomed to by speed golfers -- especially the par 3 16th. Don't say you haven't been warned! Hi Fuzion. Thanks for choosing my course. I was not expecting it to be chosen for speed golf given the nature of the course.
I've been trying to find time to fit in a speed golf amongst all the other recent events. What better incentive than when its my own course when I should have a home advantage.
I should probably put on the flame proof suit after everyone's played the 16th LOL.
I hope those that like it go back and enjoy the scenery at a more leisurely pace.

Quite enjoyed this course, and was a fan of the 700-yard par 5 - would like to see a few more of these, personally! Even with the warning about the 16th, I still screwed it up but, again, I like the fact that it was a bit different to what we're used to seeing. Unfortunately, my round was pretty much rendered meaningless after my shenanigans on the 2nd. Got into trouble with my 2nd shot and made a bad decision with the clubs to overhit my approach. But then this happened:- Basically, it let me move right to start with, but then I was stuck waiting for my character to adjust his footing although, to be fair, it was a bit of ankle-breaking stance I'd put him in  After about a minute I was allowed to move the 'crosshair' again but by this time the crowd* had disappeared back to the clubhouse yet again frustrated by my poor showing in Speed Golf. Ah well, looking forward to the next event as ever.  *Admittedly, only a couple of ducks and a squirrel |

Was going alright until I hit 16 got caught in the tree and landed in the OB 3 times...round ruiner....even had an ace on the first par 3...

Same here Andre, except I played a 6 iron pitch on my second go and made bogie. There is no need to have O.B. there, just extra punishment on a bit of a silly hole. How are you to know first time playing that a pitch is the only way to get on the green? This isn't pitch and putt I practiced the front nine and thought that would be enough, how wrong I was I enjoyed the course, except for that hole, very imaginitive. |

Forgot about the 16th warning, was going well until then, especially without any practice. Just didn't get that hole really. The rest was fine, difficult for speed golf without knowing the course but still fun.

I felt my strategy was almost correct. |

I felt my strategy was almost correct. 7I or 8I Pitch are the clubs to use. 7I tends to run past the hole. 8I off the small ridge in the green tends to be a bit short. |

Really liked the course, was fun to play something a bit more fantasy after the tours keep it pretty realistic... plus kind of reminded me of a few of the courses around home First time trying this speed golf... -2, no idea on time. |
