I noticed that I actually just did this. I had (at least what I thought) to be a oroblem when I went to go publish. Then by the time I had noticed, I had published it a couple times. I’m not quite sure how to go about deleting the extras. This thread is about submitting your course to the TGCTours.com database for review at the following link: tgctours.com/Course/Submit. If you submitted your course more than once, the standard procedure is to reject all the duplicates and to review the first time you submitted. There isn't a way to delete courses in-game, but to publish more than once, you would have had to select "published course" from the designer menu. This is where my error happened. When I published the course, it said something along the lines of, “Once published you will not be able to edit the course.” I then went to published courses and saw it under published courses. Selected my course, thinking it would bring me to play the course, instead bringing me back to edit. Since it went back to edit I assumed there was some sort of issue when it came to publishing since it had said, “Once published you cannot edit your course.” I did not put what was actually occurring together until it was way too late.

Saw this old post. I am a new designer, and need to know what happens when I publish a design and then relize how lame it is and want to make revisions. Does the game allow the new verion of a design to be overlayed on the old version (like a refresh)? Can I delete my published course and re-published my updated version? I find that game is lacking in documentation on this matter.

This post is in regards to submitting courses specifically to the TGC Tours course database. tgctours.com/Course/SubmitFor publishing courses in the game it allows you to do whatever you want. You can revise courses you have already published and publish them again. You can do this as many times as you want but just know that once you publish a course in the game you can NOT delete it. Every time you publish it is permanently linked to your profile and will always show up. If you wish to update it you will need to revise it and publish it again using a different name to differentiate it. If you have a course you like and would like to submit it to the TGC Tours database make sure you are happy with it and only submit one version on it.

Does this apply to rejected courses or only to accepted ones?
Like if I update one that wasn't accepted, for example?

I did post a thread apologizing for something going wrong when I posted my course just now. Before I could enter the descriptive text it indicated it being submitted. I directly thereafter submitted it again with the descriptive text. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. FOREST RETREAT GC.

Your course is still in the line-up, lots being submitted these days. Love your last sentence in your description. Inspired by a dream of mine; Tranquility, peace and love for the game.

I want to submit an updated version of a course thats still pending approval... and there are some noticable changes in the course like entire green complexes so would it be possible tobsubmit it and have that rather than the first one tested? Its called Savuti Reserve and the new one is coming out very soon

If I uploaded a couple beta versions of my courses, can I get someone to delete them? I'd hate to have them clog up the server, plus they are unfinished courses that I wouldn't want people to play after I upload the "official" versions.

Or published in game? You can publish betas in game, however theres no way to delete them. As far as the database, we just ask that you don't submit betas, and just wait for the finished product.

Thank you. I did mean published to the game. I'm going to be submitting a course to the database soon with the understanding that once it's out there, it's final. I've spent two months creating it and playing and tweaking it over and over. I can't wait to see what people think about it.

Is there any particular reason why a course that you've published cannot be deleted?

HB's (lack of) wisdom in having that 'function' in their game......
It's been the same in the previous versions of TGC as well.

Oh man I just did this... I accidentally submitted my course with an error in the name, is there a way to reject the duplicate on my end or do I need to wait for it to be reviewed?
