Backswing glitch on PSN download?

I've recently purchased a second PS4 and proceeded to re-download the golf club game from the PSN store,
I've now downloaded the game trying both wi-fi and LAN cable and the same bug seems to persist whereby if attempting to hit a flop shot (having tried this several times on differing courses near greens) the game seems to glitch and it's impossible to try and take the backswing away a little slower. It's also glitched a little on other shots when beginning the backswing (as if the backswing resets).
The game on the older console which was downloaded months and months ago plays perfectly.
Anyone else had similar issues or any thoughts on this?

Not sure if you're still after people's thoughts fella but I've just played the first two rounds in my first PGA tournament and I was having backswing issues on almost every other hole. Both drives and flops would just halt as I was pulling back before resetting. Cost me a few shots along the way too as I never knew when it would do it but hey ho and on we go!

I'm also playing on the PS4 btw.

I also posted this on the HB Studios forum mate and it seems there is a glitch on the backswing, I've also been advised there will be a fix in a December patch.
I've got game downloaded on two consoles (PS4's), the new one which I just got last week and subsequently downloaded the game is the one with the issues so it looks like it's prevalent on more recent downloads!! Here's hoping December patch does the trick.

I'm also having this problem on the PS4 with both the pre and post December update whereby 9 times out of 10 my backswing sticks / does not start.
Initially I thought it was my controller but I've tried a few now and also see this is a known issue.
It only affects my backswing on (my preferred) left thumb stick - having to resort to using the right thumb stick (which works fine) to overcome it.
Does anyone know If a permanent fix is on the way?

Those issues have been patched out - the most recent as of about 2 hours ago ... check again and see if you're still having issues

my swing was never bugged...and it's working great as of right now on ps4.

My most recent update was version 1.13 and my system downloaded and installed it on Monday.
Is this the most recent one that you are referring to Doyley?

The fix was server-side so you wouldn't have seen a download - the  patch you downloaded was what was causing the issues you see in the forums.

I just finished (playing very badly in!) a tournament with the right thumb stick.
After seeing your post I quickly started another round to switch to playing with the left thumbstick but the problem was still there. Strangely, your putter is fine - it only affects your woods / irons (this has always been the case for me since this issue started happening)

Like dave000 says my backswing it's still not working. It seems to be a bit better, maybe working 50% of the the time now.
Problem doesn't affect putting but does affect every other shot in the game and is most definitely restricted to the left thumbstick - any ideas (aside from using right thumstick!) greatly appreciated

still cant play tried using right stick awful

Have you posted on HB forums? We can't fix bugs in the game so for best results post on their forums and say the left stick still has the reset issue.

yes i have and all they come up with is have you got game mode on, on your tv !
