-9, -11, -13, -13 for -46 for me. Slow start with too many missed putts to stay with Sweeney. This course does run quite laggy on ps4 but I enjoyed it other than #2 and #7. Hoping for a top 3.

Hope it's the last time we see this one. I have a hard time with the fps. Almost gives me motion sickness. It's a nice course but runs like crap on xb1. -29 I'm having issues with this course on PS4 too. It's playable, but it's not really enjoyable to play. But let's take it as it is. Started with a solid, but definitely not extraordinary round of 63 (-8) yesterday. Apart from the lag issues, I don't feel really comfortable on this course (while the layout is interesting). And I struggled quiet a bit on those undulated & fast greens. Had two stupid bogeys in Rd1, which I luckily could equal with a nice Eagle on the short Par 4 on the back nine (#16?). I'll hopefully improve a bit on my next rounds, my personal target is still a Top10 here.

-6, -7, -13, -12 for a -38. Played like poop in round 1 and then felt like I played out of my mind in rounds 3/4. Sad part is that's still just an average round for the top guys lol. Oh well, I'm happy with it

I really like this course. Another fine example on how you can make a course challenging without firming up the greens. It feels good having so many different shot options on each hole. About the only thing I find a little funky is Hole #9. That tree in the fair way with anything but a head wind, you are going to hit it unless you really cut it around it and there really isn't a reason to unless you have a good tail wind, then you can get another 40 + yards. Otherwise, clip the tree, fall in the fairway and you still have a 9iron or less into the green.
People are having issues with Hole #8 with the tree there for the second shot and it really isn't that hard if you think about it.
Hardest round for me is round 1 with some of the pin placements either at the end of a long slope or just before a yellow slope. There is one par four, where the green falls away front to back and no rough around the back but a collection area. This is what I meant about making the courses more difficult. Many courses you'd take your second shot, hit it long and into the rough that would be behind the hole and have a good 8yard chip for birdie. This hole makes you have to play it different lest you end up 18 yards down the hill with a delicate flop. Too short and it is back at your feet, too long and you have a real tester coming back for par.
This course ends up for me being a love/hate relationship. I can shoot -13 or even. I know there are some good scores out there but still, regardless of whether the winner is -45 or -50, I still think it is a good tester.

I really like this course. Another fine example on how you can make a course challenging without firming up the greens. I'm not sure challenging is the right word when the winning score will be -50 or better and you probably need to birdie 36 holes out of 72 just to break the Top 25. Not complaining about that, it is how it is and will continue to be, but let's not pretend it's challenging when it really isn't....

I guess the word "challenging" is also subjective.

I find Empyreal tougher than cuyahoga but yet i still shoot lower on empyreal.....its a weird one. I think it's just a different kind of challenge. Cuyahoga had little in the way of elevation changes where Empyreal has it in spades. That first hole on Empyreal is a tough birdie if you can't cut the corner w/ wind.

Ye i usually par the first few holes on here.....i might set a par record over 4 rnds here...lol

Forgot what i scored each round this week. Total -41 it felt easier than practice. My target was -40 before it started but was slightly dissapointed in the end. Did not birdie enough of the par 5's and did not have a hot putter throughout. Good look to all left to play and well done to thise whi are going low. If anybody is left to play and would not mind getting my round scores it would be a big help. Thanks

Thanks Can always load up each version in Play Round and then select My Recent filter on ghost ball screen (before hitting tee off button) - your round scores will be at the top of each.
