Im getting absolutely sick of how this game just picks n chooses how must the wind and green slopes wants to affect my ball. Just random at times and its not helping me to enjoy my tournament rounds. Season 2 week 1 the rage has started!!!

As much as I hate when you've made the correct calculations and made a great "swing", the randomness in the game gives it more reality. I've played a ton on real tournament golf over the years and in real golf the ball squirt comes from things like dirt on the ball, flyer and marginal lies, wind changes and varied swings. With the exception of the very upper end real life PGA/Euro players, (Greg Norman in his prime wanted yardages to the 1/2 yard), they don't hit the ball close to the hole every time and miss greens in regulation. The best players in TGC are already averaging 60-61. Take away the randomness and the ball squirt and they will birdie and eagle every hole. Frustrating yes I agree, but real golf is frustrating as well, isn't it? Real golfers constantly battle inconsistency because our swings are not repeatable and this game mirrors that by adding some randomness.

Amen.
There's probably nothing to add to this statement.

As far as I am concerned, the wind thing drives me away from this game on a day to day basis, we were told again that wind would be minimal in tournaments but RGT's last tournament was played with 15/20 mph winds 80 % of the time, simply put it was not FUN! but I have been here a long time and HB is going to force feed us this wind garbage.
What makes me just crazy is that they force it on our casual rounds, and 50% of the time I don't get or want to play the course I had originally chosen. Now as too HB consistent statements about we want to create a real golf experience, I have this to say I have never had to aim 2 fairways left or right in a 15/20 mph windy day.
There is way too much affect on the ball flight and the ball spin, and as soon as a better alternative comes along I am there!

So one shot might be 12 mph, the next shot 4 mph. Very welcome change

Get better at judging it and u will feel more rewarded for hitting a banana shot in a 20mph crosswind to 5ft than you would if you hit it to 1ft in no wind at all.

I agree randomness is frustrating when it happens to you. But also agree that it's part of what makes this game great - I hate to see consecutive sub-60 rounds - it's just not real. I think it needs to be there so robot like play is not consistently possible and the experience mirrors the real world game to a degree.

I was playing with Brionne yesterday, we both were literally about 4 inches away from each other in the fairway. Same wind. We both hit the same club, no loft/deloft. He was next to the pin and I was in the bunker 8 yards short. All because the wind decided to treat a default PW different. This happened a couple times including on the last hole where it benefited me with an eagle putt.
HB is obviously looking at other ways to introduce randomness and make the game harder aside from ball squirt.
They've also made all the cup edges glass as I'm making less putts and having more putts go right over the middle of the cup without as much as a hop. It is as if the cup isn't even there.

The ball ignoring the cup is a bug - otherwise I really welcome making the hole "smaller". Putting is ridiculously overpowered as is.
